Some DS pads are made really stiff. I have one that came with my PS3 and one that I bought from BestBuy and the latter is stiff as all fuck. I've had it for over a year now and it's still pretty damn stiff. I don't know what I'm going to do when my old and soft PS3 pad starts to give out on me. Right now it's getting to the point where the circle button sticks and the DP motions are tougher to do. On-topic, I might play after midnight if anyone's around at that time.

I lol'd Nooooo, gimmicks are just that, gimmicks. They work once or twice and then the opponent will have to catch on. I'd much rather have a concrete RTSD character who can open up the opponent without the use of silly gimmicks, I have Jin to fill that role lol. The thing about Platinum that makes her fun is that she has a bunch of situational options. Sometimes she's rushing shit down with the Pan, the Missiles, and the Hammer and other times she's zoning with the Kitty and then she's setting up defensive-offensive situations with the Bat, Bombs, and now with the Presents. Outside of that, her goal is to open the opponent up with frame traps, ambiguous TK Swallow mix-up, and her basic mix-up tools like 6B, command throw, and lows. Also, bring on the Megucas a week from now:

I'm guessing that Jubei will be playable down the road in CP, just like Makoto, Valk, and Plat were playable mid-CS (by CS, I mean the whole BB2 span). Reversal type moves usually always have crappy P1. It's the meter that you get out of it which really counts. lol, RC that shit if they block it for some frame advantage... or to avoid getting punished if they jump canceled lol.
