lol, you and I, as well as a bunch of other people know the answer to that. @D_E - So you're still letting people do whatever they want to you, huh? lol
-
Which is true against he majority of his opponents lol.
-
3C does not gating into 5D, I know at least that much lol. In the other hand, you could always cancel it into Ice Blade A to make it slightly more safe. Unless you meant after 2C? At which point you're better off going for the 3C gatling for a tight string, delayed 3C for a frame trap, 6B to reset pressure, or 236A to end pressure. You're at a range where you'll be punished if you cancel 2C into 5D, which is not worth it given 5D's risk-reward factor.

lol, why does he Burst like that so much? What I'm getting out of him when he does that is "you scum, how dare you touch me?". I remember I used to touch him with Plat 5A/2A near the beginning of the match and he would Burst immediately lol.
-
It works, you'd be surprised. I was playing a Tsubaki the other day who gave zero fucks so I followed suit and demolished him/her with zero fucks gameply. Random Mamis for 4.4K+. Why should I try when my opponent doesn't either?
-
Fight stupid with stupid, you should know that by now lol.
-
Nothing wrong with pressing buttons when you expect it to work. Better than just sitting there and letting people reset pressure on you for free.
-
Hey, if Jins are doing nothing but the 2C > 6B gatling, then you should expect people to "mash". I for one am not afraid to push A after a 2C. The 2C > 3C gatling is pretty tight so you'll have to do 2C > delayed 3C if you want to frame trap. It could work as a pretty good frame trap since a 3C CH leads to good damage.

If she spaces herself at a range where 4D just barely makes contact with the opponent (at the end of its active frames), she can actually get frame advantage off of it. Other than that, she'll have to RC if she's not at optimal range.

I'm about to force myself into some healthy sleeping habits starting today. Been waking up at 1 PM way too often now and that shit ain't good lol. I'm out, good shit.

Heavy breakfast at 7:40 AM, doing it right haha.

Yeah, I was hoping that it will let you do that on your own console at least. In a similar way as how Marvel does it.

It's funny because back in the day when I was just first getting into fighting games, I wondered as to why people hated CT as much as they did. Looking back now, holy shit that game was so fucking bad it's not even funny. It is thanks to my naivete that I'm still here now (lol not really but close enough) XD CT Moment #23424... Noel 5A (+3 on block) ad infinitum > your Barrier + Guard Libra From now on, I'll refer to CT as "that game which must not be named". The DMC2 of the BB series.
-
Whops, read it wrong, that too though. Nnnngh, so many necessities...
-
Not to mention that the OS throw window was much bigger and you wouldn't get TRM'd nearly as often as you would now for abusing that OS. So basically, 7 Barrier + OS throw = lol what mix-ups. You're all horrible people for bringing up such a terrible game and I hate you all.
-
People had fun playing that game because it was so retarded. Think of it as playing Marvel. From what I've seen, P4A looks nothing like CT. If anything it looks like the Golden Child made from CSE and AC+.
-
Except that not only were they more easily baited because if you gave up your Burst early in the match, you'd be in deep shit (no Barrier, danger mode) but they had guard point, and guard point was easy as fuck to react to and avoid. lol critical moment... > Uses a Burst when he's about to die > Which wouldn't matter because lol CT Bursts were easy to react to either way. Also, good one game in DT's room, turns out that the net is being used.
-
Dunno if my net is being used up but shoot me an invite and we'll find out and I'll leave if it is lol. Edit: @ Wing - I thought they quit because CT was a fucking horrible game, unless you're trolling lol.
-
The only time I "wing it" is when I got to casuals and they're one man short from their mini-tournament/ranbat. I'm like "fuck it, gotta give a helping hand lol".
-
I personally hate going in on fighting games blind and just flail about. I always need to have at least a basic grasp of how my character works (combos, pressure, mix-up, hit-boxes, move properties) and build upon that with actual match-up experience.
-
Yes, we fucking need this. It would save people the trouble of bringing their recording setups to casuals and other events as well as being forced to record with cameras for poor quality (unless they have a tripod or something lol).
-
Yup, gonna spend at least a couple of days in the lab. I'm just glad that P4A is nowhere near as combo-heavy as Extend. By that, I mean that there are a lot less normals and specials to start combos from so it'll be easier for me to find optimal combos. As for the mix-up, that shouldn't take me more than a couple of hours to figure out since the Japanese have already come up with some juicy Yuki mix-ups after knockdown + Agi.

More people to play with is always a good thing lol.
