Well I don't know any other way to make it whiff outside of jab OS and just keeping out of it's range in general. It should really be used if you're almost a 100% sure that it will land. For example, if I do Bubble oki + sj.D (Hammer) with Plat, it will beat every reversal attempt but DP C. I see a lot of people get punished for it and the damage output that you get from it is really not worth eating a FC combo. That's just me though, Mr. Safety XD

I figured as much. If Plat had a set-up where I could taunt mid-combo or during a multiple-hit move, then I would do it at every chance I could get. That's why I tried guard crush > taunt > attack attempt to no avail the other day and Cookie got hella salty lol. With Jin though, if I have 100 meter and the next Ice Arrow is going to kill, guess what I'm doing? You know what? I'm going to hop in the lab and try to find such a setup for Plat lololol @Rubedo - I'll just PM you a long ass summary after the set. That's how I help most people that ask for it.

I just try to make the best of it, if anything I get to work on my reactions, execution, yomi, and frame traps.

lol, that's kinda why I stopped working on the Platinum combo thread. I highly doubt that people would memorize all of that shit. In the other hand, it did help me keep tabs on the optimal combos as I really didn't memorize all of those up until now. Most of those are combos I came up with, the Japanese and some other people from DL helped me build the foundation behind some of those though. Hitting the lab is not something that most people have the time and energy for. I for one, love finding shit on my own once the foundation for combos has been built.

The thing about that is that optimal combos are subject to change. I know I've revised and updated every combo in both of my threads at least 3 times. If I were to do that, then I would probably wait a couple of months until I fully understand the mechanics behind said characters combo structure and see what the Japanese have to offer. Then try to make a video but by then it would probably be too late. Just like now it's probably too late to release a Jin tutorial series of videos lol.
