I agree with GGJ. After playing some KoF XIII and doing some HD combos... now that game requires execution. Just gotta learn the timings. Hazama, Lambda, Relius, and Jin are lenient as hell when it comes to 22C. Carl and Hakumen are tricky though.

PSN ASPLODE GGs clowns, that rooms was lulz
-
GGs TD I'm over here trying to deal with your Relius as I would with any other Relius and it just does not work lol. It goes to show the difference between "meh" Reliuses and those actually understand the character. Also, DP D > 6C > (Delayed) 214A > 44 2C... gets a back dash instead of a 44 2C. First time for everything lol.

> Implying that 5B[w] is somehow not glorious in EX Head I-frames or not, that shit is still one of the best AAs out there. Edit: lol, what has been going on with PSN lately? > Gets in room > The guy's opponent gets DC'd > The room gets disbanded at a point where it cannot be disbanded

Yu's might be AUB, not a hundred percent sure on that though. I believe I saw it in one of the videos but I could be just imagining things.

I hope you're right about those DPs being throw invulnerable cuz it would suck otherwise. lol, one button/easy mode DP are hilarious. Here people are being super cautious trying to bait my Bat with Plat and I somehow always manage to tag them the moment they man up and decide to push a button lol. I can already see how many salty messages people will get... "Y U MASHIN' DP LIKE A SCRUB!?" lololol
-
I can understand Chie getting thrown out of hers since hers is a counter but Yukiko is not even on the ground when she uses it. Yet nobody fucking baits the Burst. I sat here watching about an hour of A-Cho and no one baited the Burst after a blocked/whiffed DP lol. I'm mainly going to be using the DP as a last second anti-air, the way I do with Plat and her Bat.
-
Wtf? What kinda DP is that? D: Oh well, I'll just have to sub both Yu and Mitsuru and mash dat DP.
-
I'm gonna mash it until people start baiting it and when they do, I'll move in to exploit that hole in their offense lol.
-
You read me like a book :D
-
It is impossible for you to catch that mythical creature of epic proportions. I might bust the good ol' Plat on your Relius, I have some fun stuff to try out.
-
I wonder how many people are just going to sit there and mash 4B+D any time when they're not the ones attacking
-
lol, I got on earlier and no one, from the few that were on, were playing BB. I went to random rooms and they were all 0s so I just turned that shit off lol.
-
I might have to go back and get rid of some more stuff. I should come up with a "combo theory" section, that way I don't have to be looking for specific combos in the thread because that's one big ass thread lol.
-
I've been finding myself using what the Japanese are using lately... B+C > 66 5B > 5C > Sekkajin > 66 3C > DP B > 6A > 3C > 214A > 3C > 214C for like 2.8K and I don't remember how much Heat. I'll give these a try and see how much better of an alternative they are to the above. Either way, I'm gonna get rid of that old combo we have there because that thing requires too much of an execution for such a small reward. I like them, if I could do them on the first try then it means that they're keepers. I'll add them to the thread and I've also been messing around with Tager and finding some Tager specific crap.
-
I'm really liking this Jin player. Dat 6A combo, dat Burst bait near the end there.
-
Nope, the only game in that collection that I would consider playing is DMC3:SE since I gave my copy to my brother. From now on I'm just gonna play fighters, a very few shooters, and a few Action RPGs here and there. I'll only really play action games if it they're just godly, maybe a Bayonetta II. If I want to spend a lot of time in a game, I want it to be a competitive game or even a co-op game. I can't find myself playing video games as much as I used to in the past for whatever reason. Hell, I haven't even cleared anything beyond hard mode in Bayonetta and I'm forcing myself to play KoF XIII. I'm entering a phase where I think that if I'm investing time into something, then I want to get something out of it in return and just plain fun doesn't cut it. So competitive games are the way to go here.

Yeah, you use to only be able to mash it all the way through to the 8th hit but here you just have to start the animation, hold C, and let it go. Too late now since my O button is all worn out hehe.
-
lol, that's probably it.
-
@9tea - You want to mash C, hold it, and let go a little before the 8th hit. That will give you enough time to follow up with a combo. It takes a bit of practice at first but you'll get it right in no time.

Please use the thread that Jyosua linked you to if you want to ask these types of questions. I will answer your question there, so please post there from now on.

Man, what is up with people being derp today? I entered one room and the guys were mashing D from across the screen. I enter another room, and the guys are mashing A and throws from across the screen.

Probably going to use No. 3 with the No. 9 Persona palette. Brown hair, hazel eyes, and red stockings, me gusta.

It is

Oh yeah, delayed tech is pretty damn legit as it gets you out of a few sticky situations and it's pretty much necessary as to avoid tech traps like Tager's and Bang's. It's just that it's a real setback when I'm playing as Jin and I attempt a 214A > 66 2A cross-under since it means that if you don't tech when I want you to tech, then not only will you avoid the mix-up but I'll be stuck in the corner if I'm not quick enough to react lol.
