6A floats on CH as of now, don't know how that's a change. If the j.C buff allows to connect j.C > 66 5A more consistently then I might come back to this character, if not then RIP loli until the next game lol.

That's a pretty bad blockstring, you're feeding them easy meter through IBs and most players with a brain will know to push buttons after 6C. Sure you can go for a pretty ghetto frame trap with 6C > specials but you usually need meter to get something out of it. Don't stick to a single blockstring, mix it up. There really isn't such a thing as a "good block string" but the less "filler" moves you use, the better the block string will be. Examples: 2A x N, 5B > 2B/6A 2A x N, (Delayed) 5C > 6B 2A x N, 2B > 5C > 2D Always have a goal in mind when you use a blockstring. Do I want to frame trap? Do I want to go for a quick mix-up? Do I want to reset pressure? Do I want to bait a DP? Don't just slap a bunch of moves and call it a blockstring, that's free IBs for the opponent. 5B is no longer jump cancelable on block, so you can't use a j.214D afterwards, it works on hit though. -
@Errol - Hey I've been playing Plat since CSII when she was B- tier or some shit. She has the "good tier, low tier" syndrome along with Jin, she's good in one game and she's pretty crappy in the next one. @Mac - I hear it too, he's telling me to mash more TK Hizangeki for braindead 4.5K lol

Huh, I don't know where I was getting a 13F start-up lol. She's not THAT much worse but she's bad enough to the point where I'm just not having fun playing her anymore. We'll see what happens during the next game lol.

j.C went from a 12F start-up to a 13F start-up... You're telling me that 3C > Air Persia and 5C > 6C-hell almost anything into 5C isn't wonky? It has come to the point where 5C > 236B won't connect at certain distances. I need to go back to CSE and compare the two j.Cs to see if I'm not just seeing things with the j.C pushback nerf. Meh, I'm done anyways so it doesn't matter now. RIP Loli, see you next game and I hope that you're not as crappy as you are now.

I can't do it guys, the more I play her, the more she makes me from how wonky her combos are and how ridiculous the pushback is on a handful of her moves. Did she really deserve all the nerfs she got? I mean, I could understand a hit-stun nerf on her j.C but not a start-up, pushback, and landing recovery nerfs to go with it. 5C was fine the way it was, if the 5C > j.C > j.2C loop was their concern, then they should have just reduced the hit-stun on j.2C, which they did. I tried you guys, I just can't do it lol.

He took a few matches off of me but then I just kept winning until he decided to leave the station. I just kept on resetting him and frame trapping him and once his 2A mash stopped working, he started up+backing and let's just say that that was not as good of an idea either lol.

Yes, that nigga! lol I mean he wasn't that bad but that 2A mash was getting him killed. Then again, maybe I just need more Bullet match-up experience lol.

GGs to everyone in the Arcade Lobby, specially Seifer who I left hanging after getting another win for my winstreak lol. I seriously need to read the new characters' wiki pages, I'm getting bopped because I'm allowing them to do things for free even though they might be minus on block and stuffs.

You can still win with her since her mix-up and corner oki is still strong. I dunno, I guess I should give it more time before I make a decision.

I'm definitely not having fun with her anymore so I'll just wait until the next game where she might be fun again (IMO). I'll probably replace her with Kagura, Terumi or Izayoi for now lol. RIP Loli, the combo thread is now in your hands, Cirno lol

I think I'm just going to wait for her to get buffed in the next game and let's not kid ourselves because she is in dire need of some buffs. She's damn near close to CS Rachel in this game in terms of the harshness of her nerfs compared to her buffs lol. It's one thing to play a character that's hard to win with as long as you're having fun (CSE Jin). It's another to play a character that's hard to win with but you're not even having fun anymore ... CP Plat ;_;

The pushback on 5C and j.C is really getting to me to the point where I almost don't wanna play this character anymore. Hey look, I landed a j.C, too bad that I didn't do it low enough and now I'm not even at range to confirm with 66 5A. Hey look, the opponent was crouching when I landed my starter and 5C > 6C works in this game. Too bad that 5C pushed them too far for the 5C > 6C gatling to connect. I miss CSE Plat and none of her new stuff is going to make up for all the stuff that she lost ;_;

You can mash out of his 2A > 6A but not his 5B > 6A. Then again, like you said, mashing is not the best option against Jin because he can easily get 3K+ on you meterless if he catches you mashing with a frame trap. For the 6B throw bait gimmick, just OS throw or jump.

Off a corner 5B(1) reset attempt (on hit only), he'll pull you out of the corner with the 5B vacuum effect and squeeze over to the other side with an IAD for a cross-up. Off a j.D reset attempt, he can just dash under you for a cross-under. He can kinda mimic the old IAD j.236D shenanigans with IAD j.214C but he needs 50 Heat to get anything out of it. There's also IAD j.D but that leaves him at a huge frame disadvantage, so he'll need 50 Heat to RC it if it gets blocked. Also, lol at hop characters

Jin is usually going to reset pressure of 2B/5B. He's -6 after 5B and -3 after 2B but he can frame trap you with a delayed gatling or 2C. If you're feeling lucky, mash your way out after any of these two. If the Jin is abusing 5C to reset pressure, an option is to do a micro dash Barrier block (66~4AB) after IB'ing 5C. If you did it correctly and he goes into the 5C > 2D gatling, he will whiff the 2D and you'll be able to punish him. If he goes into the 5C > 6B gatling, you'll just block it. If he goes into 5C JC, then you need to be able to react with an anti-air. The only flaw about doing this is that he might tag you with the 5C > 5D/2C gatlings, which don't really lead to much damage for him (unless he has 25 Heat). 5C > gatling is a common reset pressure for Jin since he has to auto-pilot 2B > 5C for a confirm and 5B leaves him at a huge frame disadvantage in this game. Other than that, his basic mix-up is pretty weak like people have said. You just have to watch out for the TK Hizangeki off 2A/5A or after a knockdown/stagger/reset. 6A doesn't lead to damage unless her lands a CH or RCs. You should be able to react to his jump ins with an anti-air. However, he still has unconventional reset options off his j.D or his 5B(1) in the corner and both of these lead into some nasty cross-ups/cross-unders.

I doubt that Plat can get early OD damage like those characters. I don't know how Noel's OD works but Ragna and Litchi gain special properties or additional attacks on some of their moves while in OD, which makes it easier for them to go into some damaging combos. Unfortunately for Plat, none of her abilities gain special properties. The only way I can see her being able to take advantage of an OD combo like that would be off something like 2B > 5B > cOD > 66 5D (Pan) > Stuff if you're too far away for the Pan to connect under normal circumstances or something like 2B > 5B > cOD > 3C > 66 5A > 5C > Hammer stuff. You don't want to use 5C because it pushes the opponent hella back.
