  2. but we deffff need head invul for 6a, and reduced pumpkin recovery, otherwise, everyone gets to jump in on her for free, but i'm glad CH 6B actually will let you do something now
  3. yeah, i've noticed alot of people have started jumping out of the 6C, 5D, 6D, 236D, setup. gotta learn to start air throwing i guess.
  4. how do you guys time the windless j.2C (lvl3), from george or BBL? it seems like its a very small window to get it right
  5. should we have another thread for neutral zoning?? or just add it to this thread?? (for the OP post). but i have a reset that i think might be effective, if you're doing the corner loop and you're short of meter to end with super. you can judge when to do 2B, 5B, then do a late 2C, to try and reset them in the air (hopefully CH) since it's air unblockable the opponent will probably not be ready to barrier right out of their tech. if you get the CH, you can do this CH 2C, JC, land, 5C, 2C, j.C, j.2C, (2B, 6A, j.C, j.2C)x2 , 2B, late 2C (to try and reset them again lol) the only danger from this reset is if the opponent techs late, or if you hit the 2C too early, then you'll whiff that ish.
  6. when does anyone here fish for the 6C FC?? i'm pretty sure u never wanna use it during a neutral situation since everyone can just airdash over it. but when is it a good time to frame trap or just tag them with it besides punishing slow or whiffed moves?
  7. my question was a separate topic from what i mentioned. i was wondering how to set the dummy to do random rolls, like "left, right, neutral" or is there specific settings to learn to punish the different tech rolls?? (do i just set all 4 options to random??)

  9. i would imagine you could just backdash/forward dash and 5C against dives. yeah, arakune's can't do much when you set up the wall of pew pew. and mix in the charged ones to take his primers or get random hits. 2C against his jump in B's. alot of the scrubby kune's kept using the landshark attack and kept getting me sometimes when i stick out 5C
  10. man, i just got thrown out of the 6C > 5D > 6D > super jump high/low mixup, when trying to go for a low:vbang: how do you guys setup your dummies to practice punishing different techs? i'm not sure which ones you're supposed to set to random

  13. i think this is a pretty cool ambiguous cross up setup anything > 6C > 5D > dash 2D cross under(delayed) > jump back > j.2C(delayed) > dash > 5B pickup > 2C > j.C > j.2C > steins the timings on this one is kinda weird. for the cross under you gotta do the 2D a little late. and the timing for the j.2C is at about 80% of her single jump height, so its a bit delayed. and its a pretty ambiguous cross up. but it always lands on the same side u were jumping from if you want it to combo. (i think it goes over to the otherside for a split second.) the 2D stein will let you combo from the j.2C meterless the 5B pickup is super strict so here's an alternative 5A pickup > 5B> i dunno.... lol i couldn't find anything that would combo into it, maybe 6A pickup might be better but i'm having trouble landing it with 6A. so maybe someone super good can come up with a more damaging alternative for this ambiguous cross up setup

  15. lol i think he meant 5D, 6D, 236D for the start. or wait, i think i've seen temptest mention she's a girl? is this correct? as for the 6C ender into 5D, 6D, 236D, 6D, 5D setup (we should make a nick name for this lol, it seems like an essential pressure tool that works awesomely), do u think if we immediately do dash 6B, it'll be safe on block or even allow you to continue a combo after 6B's recovery without RC? that'd be so good if it worked, just throw that shit out. nobody blocks overheads right? lol once again sorry i can't test this myself atm. i'm always posting at work
  16. i think this combo should be put up front, many times we'll fish for FC 6C and just cancel right away into 5D if we're sleeping and not trying to hit confirm the 63214C on reaction to FC. and we should make a midscreen variation too. the 214D in this combo is super easy to hit confirm
  17. would there be a pattern that might let you mix in charged D's and using some laser train setup? like say setup 5D, 6D, 236D, 6D, 5[D], j.D, j.6[D] and try to keep it goin somehow this is just theory fighter here, i post while i'm at work, so i can't test it out. or would the charged D's not fire because of the laser?

  19. oo ok, yeah, i love how 5b and 2b gatling back and forth lol, but the pushback is so much, seems like you can only get in about 3 of any combination of 5b/2b i have some questions, i apoligize cuz they're a bit scrub status or if they've been answered already, but can you DP meaty attacks in this game? i have such a hard time trying to use it on ppl who meaty my wakeups. (damn sf and it's lenient ass exectuion) and for her D's i've been reading there's charged D's. does that mean you hold down D's to make it charged? and the # of diamonds on the steins are just to denote what order they came out in and nothing else right?
  20. just started playin mu last night, i was in training mode practicing the cross under setups and tried bein creative. so after i end a combo with 5C, 6C, 5D i would run up and do instant(not really, so slow lol) overhead j2c, and it would whiff and i would land and do 2b and do another combo. seems like it MAY be useful against ppl without a DP, not sure if it would be beaten out by 2a mash. I think the stein that gets setup could cover you for that. what do u guys think? oh and of course you can delay the j2c ever so slightly to actually make it hit. MIND GAMES!!! i didn't have time to test it since i was having fun just picking up mu for the first time edit: woops, typo doesn't help that m is right next to n and they look similar
  21. what's xN stand for? is that a variable that stands for like a BnB combo?
  22. i just started playing mu, yesterday, i was wondering if we could gather up some good blockstrings that are safe or good for mixups/setups to add to the combo section. i feel it's one of the things i have trouble with coming up with or looking for when i start a new character. i would imagine any string into D's+jump cancel is fairly safe? cuz usually you'll end a string with them fairly far away
