  1. By 'okay', I mean that in order to win, you can't really screw around and that the risk-rewards for attacking haphazardly are so low they aren't worth it. She's low-tier, unquestionably. She's just not unplayable.
  2. Apple juice is indeed good. So is lemonade and orange juice. :v:

  3. 6a 5b JC j.b j.c 2d JC j.2c (combo drops, hit registers as a level 2) (6a) 5b JC j.b j.c JC j.b j.c j.236a That one looked like it landed somewhere between 2 and 3k total damage. Hard pressed to tell for sure, since I don't really stop to look at the numbers in the middle of that, and it doesn't count as a single combo. The non-dropped version (level 3 j.2c hit into BBL) doesn't seem to do an amazing amount of damage, unfortunately. Didn't get any actual numbers, though. It might work with 2b/5b. I tried it earlier, and it seemed as though it was feasible. That said, I did the combo starting with 2b 5b 5cdc, and the overall damage was around 2k. I'm not sure if that was because I swapped out 3c236a or because I opened it with two moves, but it certainly wasn't 3k damage. God, I suck with CS Rachel. I'm way too used to using 6a and 6b. The latter is useless, and the former has a very changed hitbox and extended recovery, so I just keep whiffing it and getting punished. She still seems okay, though. Far from good, but still 'okay.' Tsubaki seems significantly stronger than Rachel, on an unrelated note. xD
  4. That was, by far, the best attempt to stay off screen yet. XD
  5. You can sacrifice another wind (214ad dash 3c236a) to successfully pull that off on non-midscreen frog combo characters, too, unless 5cc untechable time has been reduced. I don't believe it does, and it's a fairly hard combo to time properly. :8/: I'll see if I can check at some point, though. I'm pretty sure failing that combo actually provides significantly more damage in CS: 6a 5b JC j.b j.c2d JC j.2c (combo drops, hits them on tech, registers as a level 2 hit) land, 66 6a 5b SJC j.b j.a j.b j.c JC j.b j.c j.236a In CT, the damage difference is pretty small (~4.5k either way), but in CS with BBL's massive nerf....
  6. Iced tea is awesome without milk. Adding milk to it is a foreign concept to me. o.o And I do like my mlik. I just don't want to buy any right now, because chances are that I'll fly out of here before I can finish it all. >.>

  7. I... don't. I drink iced tea. D: I do add milk to coffee (when I'm forced to drink it) and hot tea, though. :kitty: Though, the only reason I don't drink milk is because I don't want to buy any right now. :v:

  8. Drinking milk makes your bones strong! Manly men drink milk. :v:

  9. Insulted that I forgot the milk, and thankful for everything else? D:

  10. Lies! /puts you in a cardboard box //writes 'please adopt me!' on it ///puts a bone and some water inside There. Now you're all set. :D

  11. From a video (and also a working combo in CT): 6a 5b JC j.b j.c2d JC j.2c (registers as a level 3 hit) land, 66a32146c 236a 3c 214c 3c 214a 'oki'. Timing window for 6a after the j.2c is somewhat small. If anyone can manage that combo in CS and see how the damage is, that'd be nice. The easier version of this is replacing 'JC j.2c' with 'JC j.c', at the cost of a small amount of damage. Also worth wondering about is if you can do 236a twice in the new game or something. Not really sure they get caught in BBL high up enough for it, though. edit: Possible in CT to do 66a32146c 236a 214a 3c, so I'd assume that's possible in CS, too (for less damage), or 236a x2 is possible (if 236a is faster at all, then this may work).
  12. The first one is mentioned here and there, don't know if it's actually listed. The second one is listed as 5b 5cdc 66 2b 5b SJC j.b j.a j.b j.c JC {j.b j.c j.236a} or {j.2c j.214b wind oki}, I think.
  13. If that works, it could give her time to summon a pumpkin and frog safely after her aerial combo. Her recovery on the j.236a might be too slow to catch them with j.214c, though, assuming it's even possible in the first place.
  14. This is a good reason to choose a main.
  15. Haha. :P That sounds more like an overlooked bit of code than anything. It used to require that the poles fully form before they could be activated, but now they activate on 'landing,' which may well apply to bouncing off of or hitting things. By hit, by the way, do you mean hitting the opponent, too? If so, would it be possible to juggle people with streams of 236a/b (j.)214c? Sounds silly and low-damage, even if it works.
  16. About 2000 miles west of Illinois. >.> Washington State. Also, a bit late, but ouch, school starts on Dec. 20th?
  17. Ah, thanks for the correction.
  18. Any chance? Well, technically, yes? Is it going to happen? No. The game's not broken, they won't change it.
  19. Yeah, it trades with them.
  20. 236a!
  21. Shorter horizontal range, no super armor, slower recovery.
  22. Is it possible to do j.3db j.c 5b j.b j.c 5b? Two overheads on one wind stock? And ew at 2d-ing for lows. I haven't heard that, actually. Some confirmation on that would be nice. I was under the impression that no one did it because it was a nigh suicidal move in CS.
  23. I would laugh pretty hard if we could send active bat poles flying at people, but yeah, that seems unlikely. 2b 5b has been shown to work for frogging in a couple of videos, so the timing might be different. 5cc doesn't wall-bounce at max range, if I recall correctly.
  24. Any word on when they think that'll happen?
