When I first saw BB i immediately wanted to main Ragna. I liked Sol for GG but i got into the game so late (Accent Core was my first serious take on GG) that I switched to Millia. When BB came out I saw that Haku was low tier but I played him anyway in hopes of flopping the tier chart on its head. I still play Haku as my main but I want to sub Ragna and if I like him, i might make him my main. The thing about this game is that everybody plays differently and people can make their own style of play.

I have always played characters that punish/kill half a lifebar really fast. So Tager :d. Also because he has the best astral in the game.

So when the first vids of BB were coming out, my friends would watch them together and go into theory city about it. I wasn't into BB at all at this point, but I heard that Arakune was really good (this is before Nu). So as my way of inputting what I thought, I started yelling "UH-RAH-KOO-NEH!!!!" at certain points of the day until I left them for the summer. They got sad whenever they heard it. But to be honest, seeing them sad made my heart flutter with joy. ~~<3 So the game comes out and I couldn't really find a character I liked. I played Nu, Rachel, and Noel with very little success. But then I try Arakune for a little longer and his air control is pretty wacky, but pretty cool. I played May in GG which had some decent air normals, but this was so different and kinda cool looking sometimes. I'm also not good with combos so the simpler Arakune combos are around my level of learning. Andohyeahcursingpeopleisprettyfuntoolololololbees.

I choose characters on their looks mostly I think Jin looks kool and has a pretty kool straight forward power XD Noel becasue she has guns and she is HOT (I'm also a Ky user so I probably would've chosen Jin naturally anyways :x)

I was in the Arcade several months back, and I saw BlazBlue for the first time. The guy playing was using Jin, but he was fighting against Noel. Her fighting style appealed to me, so when I finally got the game for my PS3, I tried her out and liked it a lot :]

I can't wait until Jubei comes(fingers crossed) he looks like he plays like Baiken, and I fkn love playing with Baiken. Until then I've been constantly switching mains. I think I'll just play Jin, at least he has a Katana like Baiken :8/:

Jin because he's unstable. Instability is always a fun thing in a character. For fighting purposes I prefer all around characters with good counters for most situations, so he was an obvious choice.

At first I was thinking of maining Jin and subbing Ragna cause they both looked cool and their voices sounded badass, as well as them having awesome moves that fit my play style (i.e. swords). Then I was messing with Hakumen and just warmed up to him and now he is my main.

I first picked Noel because she looks cool, I enjoy her playstyle, and her basics were easy to pick up. But then I switched when I got frustrated at how little range she has for starting moves, and how incredibly difficult it is to do any sort of mixup or pressure with her. (Yes, I stopped spamming D) Then I moved to Jin because he goes even with the top 3. He's fun.

I went through a bunch of different characters, started with Arakune, and went through learning a few BnB combos with everyone in training until I found that I liked Carl best. Kinda just liked controlling two characters at once and how his general strategy is different than everyone elses. might also be a subconscious thing because I've noticed a lot of A.B.A. mainers use carl too :S

Sol was my main in GGXX and I love Ragna's combo when i saw them before the game came out in the states, so I decided to main ragna. Altho for a little while I was tempted to main jin too.

Tao because she's so freaking stupid and innocent she just captivated me. And Nu cuz I love how her voice gets all bubbly when she talks to Rawrgna. Her being top-tier was a nice christmas present.

Watching various videos before the release, I found myself drawn to "the guy that makes symbols and inkblots" because it looked damn awesome. Being a long-time Sol player I also have been gravitating towards Ragna. Haven't really decided between the two, but I'm heavily leaning towards Hakumen, since I prefer a defensive control style. Either way, my fighting game rival has chosen Jin, so our fights will be awesome, whether it's brother vs. brother, or time-travelling mirror match.

The general simplicity of combos and special attacks, mixed in with great speed and a lovable cuteness, and I have a main. As for Litchi...I dunno. I guess I was just interested in the pole mechanics...though, I suck with it...

Since I've only been a Street Fighter player, I'm fresh to the GG/BB series and gameplay. I play E.Honda and Zangief, and when I saw the characters in Blazblue, I picked Tager simply because he is the largest character. And seeing that he used 360 motions and grabs mixed with magnetism, it seems like a good fit for now.

Aye, I was seriously considering Carl as well but thought Litchi was probably the closest to ABA because of her long weapon so I went with her. Now that I know how to play Litchi to an extent, I can say she is similar to ABA in a lot of ways. The most apparent being both have two modes with different normals and specials to switch between (Aba;Normal/Moroha & Litchi;With Mantenbou/Without).

Well, I mained A.B.A. when I played Guilty Gear. But I got into HDR and SFIV and mained Geif in both, so I thought I'd try Tager in BB. Which I did, and he's cool. But Carl was really intriguing to me, both in looks and play-style. When I saw what he could do (and how challenging it looked to pull it off) I decided to go full steam learning Carl. And am not regretting it. I don't know why A.B.A. mains would go Carl, as I don't see much similarity. But that's how it went for me, so who knows?

I love the movie Equilibrium, so when I heard about a character who used Gun-kata being in BlazBlue, it was pretty much a given.
