Urichinan Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 I play Litchi because: 1. I like her story. 2. I like her personality. 3. She's got the coolest fighting style and the hardest combos in the game. (Next to Carl... DARN YOU ADA!!) 4. She's beautiful. 5. I like how she flows between the two fighting stances. 6. I like tech, oki and ukemi traps. 7. She has a nice rack. 8. I like playing hard characters who aren't used very much. (Stupid CS! I want lower damage output! I WANT MY CT LITCHI DAMAGE BACK!!)

TheGreatReptar Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Long before I bought the game I decided I would play Litchi. I liked her drive ability, and thought that switching between holding the staff and being staffless would lead to her being a very in depth character that would take a long time to learn but be a rewarding character. Looking back on it, I hang onto Litchi's staff like 90% of the time, and most of the time that it's dropped is either mid combo, or I'm just tossing it at kids online to get them to airdash into 13 Orphans. I still use her now because first of all, she's the only character I know a decent number of combos for, and I love her wakeup game now.

I'm too lazy to learn another character. I've learned one Belial Edge combo and that's it lmao. Yea, Litchi is fine with me coming from a mid-tier user. First I thought she was insanely good, but now I don't think she's too BS at all, and is a very reasonable S-tier character (a helluva lot more reasonable than CT S tiers). So yea, if masses of people want to use her when console gets released, then by all means go for it. However, they'll find that it's definitely not an automatic win. People should use her if they want an execution heavy, high damage character with innovative corner oki set-ups with daisharin and her doll. She also can zone pretty well with her staff 5b, and her overheads are really good. Her anti-air options (tsubame gaeshi and 2c) are pretty mediocre, but still passable. If she has one major weakness, it's that her blockstrings can be very easily IB'ed and CH'ed with some huge combos if the opponent has experience against Litchi, and as you guys all know Litch doesn't take damage well.

Not to mention a pretty difficult learning curve. I guess all the litchVNoel match ups we have at AI paid off for you(jin too). Btw, you should go to AI today. Everytime i go i'm always the only one there, and computer raping isn't so fun. :/

I also love high execution characters and I've been maining Litchi for like the past month (mained Rachel for the rest of CT but CS..nah). Now I'm going to feel like a complete idiot though for spending all this time with her and suddenly having to relearn all my stuff. Her CS combos look much more difficult than her CT combos as well, but whatever I don't mind.

In My eyes, she has a bit of strategy to her style of fighting and I'm good with characters like her. I have a hard time with characters like Hakumen and Baiken, Countering is my weakness...

I love her character design too....purple eyes, Lao Jiu and her hair. I've also had a thing for "strong woman" characters (ex. Bayonetta, I main Ivy in SC4, I like Juri/C.Viper in SSFIV, etc.), and I'm Asian and she's Asian (stupid reason I know XD)....supporting that last one, my friends are telling me I should cosplay her ._.;; I don't have her gigantic boobs though. And I am a girl and I love Litchi's boobs XDDD especially her "unamused" pose...that kinda always makes me laugh at how big they really are. That and I love it ALWAYS when Tao calls her "Boobie Lady".
