[CT] Why you play Litchi-Fae-Ling???

i picked her cause well, her design is awesome (arrrm, DD i guess) and well, those combos are just hot. going up and down, landing and relaunching, anywhere anytime was all just too good. sadly, i pick now noel over litchi since it's kinda hard for me to coupe with here relatively defensive game, (mained jam in GG) and when you try to rush with litchi, and give up your position advantage for her great long range pokes, you kinda gonna lose it. but i still enjoy pick her up from time to time when i'm tired from all this running around the screen

I tried Carl, but negative edge on a pad is hard as funk. I scrapped that real quick.

I don't see why everyone has such a hard time with this. It's really not that bad.

Hell, I'm sure most pad Carl players switch Drive to one of the shoulder buttons to make it more possible. I friggin play Carl on the side with X and it's fine.

Ya, Carl negative edge gets a lot easier with a shoulder Drive button. Arakune is the hard guy to use on a pad. -_-

Let's put it this way: In ninja turtles, I was Donatello, in MvC2 Gambit, and in Soul Caliber, Kilik... and I'll say that Litchi is probably the most fun to play with out of all the staff users.

My story is pretty much the same. Cept I also normally tend to sway toward ice-based characters as well (e.g. Sub-Zero in the MK series and Glacius from KI) but for some reason I cannot stand Jin in this game. Perhaps because he reminds me so much of Ky Kiske.

But ever since I first saw Litchi's character design and weapon style I knew she was the one for me. Then when the Power Gamer near me got the arcade game, I tried her out and knew she was meant to be.

I ended up picking up on Arakune because I saw some kid beasting with him one day and had to give him a try. Even still I find I enjoy playing Litchi more than Ar.

I like her long combos and resets... and I normally go for combo/reset/mixups chars...(i-no,millia) plus i love when she yells "Chun!! and tsubame gaeshi!!"

I was a Bridget player in GG, and once i found out that's how Litchi plays, i made her my 2nd main. All there is to it.

Cause she looked like Jam + Anji + I-no all mashed together and I thought "oh that's cool, I'll think about maining that chick." Then I heard her theme on Youtube and was sold. She ended being the most fun to play with too.

Greetings from a newblood. I just started playing Blazblue only last week after buying the PS3 version at my favorite mall. Already Litchi is at the top of my list of favorite characters because of

-Great looks

-Great body

-Great sense of humor, wit, and voice

-Great fashion sense

-Awesome Elegant and Stylish Fighting style (in fact what got me sold on her was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfK2PRJQIyc ), plus I've come to like staff/polearm fighters since Soul Calibur

She's my main character now, and I actually finished Arcade Mode the first time with her.

First I'll admit I'm not a hardcore fighting game player (i.e. I'm not so much into combos and those complicated presses to activate special attacks, and will more likely go button-mashing in such games or use button-shortcuts [eg L1,R1, etc on the Dual Shock controller] if applicable), and Second, I never got to play the Guilty Gear games before, so I'm not used to the gameplay of the series yet (in fact my most recent favorite fighting game is Soul Calibur 4, which I also have for my PS3).
