I use a stick (which doesn't have anything to do with why my Carl sucks. Exectution can be practiced, I have no worries with that part of the game) I'm going down the list and I'm stuck on one of Carl's BnB... Dammit! No one uses the pad...

I have a question regarding the 2B 3C 22D 236A 2B 2C 8D etc. combo. If I do the Vivace too soon, Nirvana pops out on the wrong side (after Carl's roll finishes), and if I wait too long, the Vivace goes too far and I'm out of range for a direct 2B 2C followup. Obviously I'm doing it wrong. Is there a trick to it? Does the 3C count as a 2 input (meaning I could do 3C 2D in rapid succession for the teleport)? Any tips on performing that one would be greatly appreciated, especially concerning the timing of 22D.

That doesn't mean I NEVER play him its just me never taking shit seriously online because its dumb to actually/learn try w/input lag especially when I can do it all offline. -_- We'll see.

I was actually thinking about learning Carl with D on R1, but that got shafted because I didn't want to have to keep switching the config back to default for when I play my other two characters, so I use default config for Carl as well. I can groundloop, do teleport allecan setups, kara fastfall, and all that jazz. The only thing I can't do consistently is the simple throwloop, because of the way I have to do it with my config. Also, the more involved throwloop setups where you have to walk nirvana foward are out of the question. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!! Carl's projectile has to be the most annoying thing ever. It's like having fullscreen artillery support from the backline.

(On pad BTW=:P) Fun matches. I do need to work on Nirvana-breaks more don't I. It's a bitch to relaunch Carl from the corner universal throw loop. Dashing 5B doesn't work. We're going to either walk up after the dash or attemp an AD Allegreto, 8]D[ for that damn launch. 4Corners- Your next in this Carl Ditto fest! I've been playing a lot these days.
