GhostSummoner Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I found a interesting glitch(i think it mightn not be a glitch) but anyways, has anyone ever noticed that you see axl-low's girlfriend in the game? I found in the weirdest of ways, heres how to see it: Do one of his dragonpunch+s/hs and heres that tricky part, when you do the move and you see the flash pause the game(it would be better to try this in practice mode) and if you do this correctly, you should see a pretty decent picture of whom i think is Megumi...pretty cool, huh?
Fugue Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Actually, that's Benten Gari, the Goddess the attack is named after.
zer0kage Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 His OverDrive also shows some sort of Hindu-looking god/goddess.
GhostSummoner Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Actually, that's Benten Gari, the Goddess the attack is named after. Oh....i thougth that was megumi for a minute...well now i know who that is.
722 Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I didn't even realize there were hard-and-fast rules for untechability in the first place, it seems like there are a ton of exceptions. For example I think Millia's Silent Force is only around level 3, but it's untechable for like a billion frames even on normal hit... not to mention if these numbers are accurate how are combos like Baiken's dust loop possible? I don't think the data is particularly useful for anti-air hits because every other move, and a huge number of the important moves, are exceptions to whatever rules there might be.
4r5 Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 For Millia's Silent Force, it has additional properties. Airhit untechable time: 40F。 Same with Baiken's j.D. Wall bounces , Untechable for 45F. I mostly use the chart to figure out what I can squeeze inbetween common attack strings, if I instant block.
JOFan Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 is there a thread for hidden ester eggs? like the one mentioned above with axl's super? i know for JO if u pause early enough u'd see him toss a bottle up and and slicing it in half when u do ensenga but thats about it.. lo.
RedBeard Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I-no's tits in a bunch of frames. Random panty shots Zappa's random S-Ko frames Johnny's Ensenga bottle(I thought it was a feather at first..) Axl's OD/DPs with random goddesses Anji's fans have different shit written on them on all of his different pokes/supers Can't really remember any others atm...
Darkhonor90 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 in ky's IK if freezed at the moment the special hits you can see a naked girl
kenmastersX Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Incredibly random UFO in Millia's stage. The alien's been around since Guilty Gear. http://youtube.com/watch?v=b6nRuv-OtsA

Wall bounces , Untechable for 45F.No I feel you, but that's what I was getting at, it's almost academic because so many of the common air combos break the rules anyway. Now that I think about it though this helps find stuff like jump-in attack into grounded combo on airborne (i.e. BR RC j.H land 2H) etc, so I guess there's that. Do you know if there's any data on precisely how the combometer effects untechability time, incidentally? And, uhhh, Bridget's Roger Hug has "Lovely" written on it, but when thrown from the 1P side it's backwards. I guess that's not that obscure.
Darkhonor90 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 When hitting characters in GG/ does each character have there own type of pushback? I'm not talking about on block I mean while Im hitting them each time I do an attack I get knocked back little by little. Does each character have there own range of that pushback or is it the same for everyone?
4r5 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Pushback increases as your combo gets bigger. Do you know if there's any data on precisely how the combometer effects untechability time, incidentally? Combometer? You mean the guardguage? I remember a lot of things about it, but I can't remember which of these things are true and which are false.
4r5 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 · Hidden Hidden Pushback increases as your combo gets bigger.
shinquickman Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 ^No he's asking if pushback is greater or less great depending on the character, number of combo hits aside. I doubt it.
4r5 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I doubt it. I was saying the same thing, but with out saying it. And instead going on and saying the next thing.
Darkhonor90 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Ah ok so every character as the same range of pushback ja?
Koozebanian Fazoob Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I heard ages ago that some characters had more or less pushback slightly but it could have been BS. I have no facts or statistics to provide an answer either way. One thing to keep in mind though that pushback is a factor of the power of the move (pretty sure it's based strickly on the move's level) so characters with low level moves will get pushed back a lot less than characters with lots of high level moves.
Hatred Edge Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 I got two stupid questions: 1: Mixups. What are they exactly? I know I've been doing them, I just want a clear understanding of mixups. 2: Tiger Kneeing moves. I've been doing this in KOF but not guilty gear. I just picked up Johnny and a main pain in the ass with Johnny is TKing Ensenga. Is learning TKing moves a good idea? I've been toying with the idea of TKing Sol's Sidewinder, dunno if that's possible...and yeah: can you TK shoryuken command moves like Volcanic/Storm viper?
burningvigor Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 1: Anything that forces the opponent to guess high low throw etc. Such as Sol gunflame frc run up and do something. 2: yes Volcanic can TK and ensenga is one of the easiest TK moves i think. just do 4123698 HS on the ground.
Hatred Edge Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Really? You can TK 623 commands? How? 6283?
j_xker Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Yea........how to do triple jump install ???
