Don't stay in the air so much. you're lucky the noel wasn't good and didn't space/time moves correctly and just threw them out. Anti-airs would have bodied you :/. Also try to play footsies with 5B more, and I didn't really see any pressure, so the game is in neutral for entire time. While you do have your combos, your general gameplay needs to step it up :/ Also, mashing 2D only gets you so far. When you start playing better people. They'll wait for the 2D and punish it. Or will do a low/instant block on reaction. 2D spam is bad against grounded enemies.

j.C is a no no most of the time as an approach, especially air to air.

Very true.

Also air approaching is pretty weak in general (though j.B is pretty beast if you're spacing)

Bang has awesome ground normals and you should make use of them (although he can do air-to-air fairly well)

I bought the mook but left it in Austin while I'm out of town for spring break. Hopefully someone else posts the frame data before I get back this weekend so I don't have to :p

Anyone got some tips for landing the 4 seals bnb? I seem to have trouble dashing the 2b. It doesn't seem that I can neglect it though as I can't land a 2d afterward. I don't have many opportunities to practice right now so any help I can get is good.

Just get good at doing the deep dash 2B without blackbeating it and it becomes much easier to land the 2D. Do the 2B as soon as you input the dash, if you need help timing it.

It's just a bit of a rough link, since you can't rely on advanced input like usual when it's a dash link. You do have around 5+ frames of leeway though even in a worst case distance, it isn't THAT bad. Just takes practice.

What's Blackbeating?

Knowing I have that much is at the very least, a confidence builder. Is that after 2c and j.d?

jD is a wild card, it depends; Using C as your body and ascii to badly demonstrate opponent's height; C ' : You can hit 6A or d2B C- : You might be able to hit 6A, and if yes, can hit d2B C_ : You can't hit 6A, and if they're really low you probably won't even get 2A, much less 2B or d2B jD has hit stun til they hit the ground +x number, so the higher they are compared to you, the better. That's why 5B 2B 6C jD connects to 6A perfectly every time, the 6C puts them optimally high. On 2C, you can always get d2B, and that is the 5+ I was referencing. And blackbeating = combo dropped, they can tech, but it keeps going anyway because they missed tech

Wait, which 4 seal BnB? The throw or the 2D one? Or what?

lol @ 2D j.D 2B 623B d.2B j.D 2C working

The ground 5a/5b one...

so, am i correct to assume that its impossible to get 4 seals off 5B againist ragna and tager right?

Why not against Ragna? What doesn't work?

You can do it on Ragna, but it's just a shitload harder. You have to high jump delay jump j.D and you can still connect 2B on landing. but the timing for HJdlJD is really hard.

JD →Jin, Taokaka, Rachel, Arakune, Litchi, Carl, Lamda

HJD →Noel, Tsubaki

HJdlJD →Ragna, Hakumen, Hazama

from the JP wiki

The only person who you can't do it on is Tager, if you didn't guess already. But yeah, grind that timing for Ragna, Hakumen, and Hazama. It's pretty dumb :/

On 2D, I usually just take the non-height/timing dependent jB j623B 5B 623B d6C jB jC..

Since, you know, I don't use FRKZ :psyduck:

If you want a slightly better one, the one I like is:

2D/5D>j.B>j.623B>5B>623B>d.6C>j.D>2B>6C>j.C

thanks Reioumu, very helpful.

whenever i get a chance to play cs again, i'll make sure to try it again.

it may cost me several matches right now, but it'll be useful down the road if i'm able to get those 4 seals in one combo.

FRKZ is a life saver...

Oh, I'll go for the nail-less 4 seal 2D combo on several characters or if they're really hard, just do 3 seals. I find FuRinKaZan to be MUCH more useful now since you can get 4k+ damage combos off any hit pretty easily rather than just sticking with 3-3.5k damage (if it's max damage combos)

I'm still grinding that j.4C loop though. I think you can do it off of 2D, but I still need to test it some more. 2D j.4C does connect though.
