Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how matsu could stay in the air for so long and throw so many lobellias at hazama at 12:36. Pretty funny shit btw.

It's pretty simple. If you look just before that, he super jumps and spends his whole 4 wind stock to push himself REALLY high up in the air, then throws lobelias to keep himself from falling down too fast, as throwing lobelias freeze your downwards descent momentarily.

Actually its not the super jumping but the lobelias faster recovery, since in CT you could try the same time out tactic but only stay up for so long. air iris is a safer way to stay float once you get down where they can actually see you though.

Yup. Burst counts as projectile... meaning you can't punish bursts with lobelia. Such is sad life.

Can you punish burst with SLEDGE?

Ok thanks cos I wasn't sure if you could throw multiple lobelias in the air cos it wasn't possible for CT. Um, btw anyone got any tips for IAD? I'm having trouble with it:gonk:

Matsu failing at life, some bang faggotry

Aoniku is back bitches, more tao faggotry

:toot:

Matsu didnt fail, Satoshi is just too much for him. That was from a 14 vs 14, Tokyo VS Chiba? battle. Satoshi just teared thru all the Gamechariot top guns, including Dora, kaqn, etc.

Would have been cool to have at least won 1 round, oh well, c´est la vie

Horrid match with poor play on Matsu's part.

Round1: Only counted one situation where Satoshi got damage from high low mixup ala 5C. Rest of it was from Matsu trying to fight head on against Bang's normals which are comparable to Ragna's. Bang does not forgive.

Round2: Matsu messes up back throw 9D dash 5C wall bounce into setup.

Reset into j.B,C 2D lvl2 dj.2C failed due to Frog activation. Shit happens.

Matsu generally looked panicky: His critical corner setup combos didn't work and he was behind on health with Satoshi leading in rounds. Ran away and loses to guard crushing unloading all his bursts. Didn't even barrier.

Came away feeling like it was a waste of my time.

http://www.mmcafe.com/nico.html this no longer works or something? it wont bring the videos up for some reason.

edit: just change it to search by tag.

From the video it looks like your at a very good amount of frame advantage when you tk sword iris. i say this because uate got a purple throw after doing so and he was about 4 character spaces away from the lambda player.

Also j2.c>lobelia a i think nets you a bit of pressure on block and also on hit.

uate deserves to be crowned "the dora" over matsu..i mean..he is better than him..

I agree. Matsu may have been like the first to show that Rachel wasn't completely useless, but Uate has taken that and has gone further with it. Like in that video against the Bang player, that pressure in the first round was awesome and I didn't think Rachel still had that in her.

I haven't seen a video with Matsu in awhile too.

my sentiments exactly, i feel that the only reason they nerfed the time was so her 5cdc 214b, 5d, 6c, j.c combo wouldn't connect anymore

does her 4b gatling with 2b? i can't remember if it did or not in ct either, since i never had to use it lol

question never answered in thread. yes 4b>2b also 2b>4b So its possible to mix-up with 4b>2b>3c or 4b>2b>4b to take advantage of online lag lol:yaaay:

not even lag can make 4b a good over head :8/:

4B is actually pretty good for pressure. If you can predict when your opponent is going to block low, it can connect and does pretty good dmg too. And even if they block it, it still takes away a guard primer. Matsu uses 4B pretty well.

Uate may be better than Matsu, but Matsu is definitely more entertaining to watch. :yaaay::yaaay:
