banshee Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 I guess Renka's wall bounce only works after the second hit, so no big deal for me since I usually cancel it into Kishuu > Enma (let's just cross fingers this change doesn't f*** up corner combos). removing the follow ups for Zanshin seems just plain stupid to me. they could just go ahead and remove his drives altogether then... IIRC I've read that j.D could be followed up by air specials during the first loke test. I think I could live with that... edit: what do you guys think about Renka's new command (236B)? I'd happily accept that

Yeah, loke, but these changes seem to cater to poor players who complain about him (which, imo, is a drastically declining player base. CS sold, like 4x less than CT so far. So, stupid changes are stupid).

They are making them too high risk vs reward, and Hakumen is supposed to be a punish-style character in the first place. Not being able to combo off of 6D = LOL It is going to be annoying to get my muscle memory to switch to 236B for Renka, but that is a minor complaint. Kind of wish they would make 623A to 236A though, just for personal preference. >.<

It would be an amazing buff, it means I could input a faster tk motion like for tsubaki. Hopefully that changes, but wow, spark what do you think about the zanshin nerfs? DO they make sense to you or are you with all of us thinking that the nerfs for it are stupid?

That and his sword length, he'd have to have a sword as short as ragna's AT MINIMUM. As far as zanshin combos go, it's not OUR fault they have predictable block strings, learn to adapt>_>

Sophisticat Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 6D nerf is bigger than just not being able to combo, too. It's one of the only ways to go into Mugen on hit. Now you need a 6a, 4c, or full 6c CH for long enough stagger, all of which are much more impractical than 6D... not that anyone cares about Mugen. >_> Didn't notice the 236b renka change, though. I like that, it'd make Hotaru even more powerful.
