Considering that's the first time I see it... I'd say yes xD and... updated. [e] I kinda like watching Aatei too :keke: ...when he doesn't drop his combos :8/:

In my opinion, Buppa is more stable than Zakiyama, yet not as impressive and creative... maybe it's just me. I like Buppa's Jin more D=

Buppa has -excellent- reaction time, and considering we've seen what Hazama can do because of Zaki and Aatei it's not going to stand out much. I've been watching Buppa's Hazama, and like Phoenix said, he's a lot more stable in his playing style. He reacts quick and sets up really well. It's like he's playing Jin with a fedora.

Buppa is imo obviously better than Aatei. But right now even though his moves don't stand out much considering what could be seen with what Zakiyama was doing before, you guys are right, he lands his combos better and stable ,and his reaction time is great which makes me like him the same as with Zakiyama.

It just seems like Buppa likes to land guaranteed combos while Zakiyama likes to zone and do flashier combo extensions. Basically, Buppa's "boring Jin" playstyle is leaking through his Hazama. Not that that's a bad thing, of course. Each player has a easily seen different style of playing the same character.

From what I'm seeing Especially in the Kaqn(RA) vs Buppa match, Buppa builds better meter than Zakiyama. He does Jayoku counter just the same as Zaki, only difference I see is that Zaki is much more aggresive than Buppa. Buppa isn't even lacking in the combo department. Only things he hasn't done are the 3 6D's and 4 6D's combos.

Also Buppa doesn't sit a screen away and endlessly chain/chain cancel, waiting for the opponent to come to him or to get CH'd. But that's a legit tactic! :yaaay:

Yeah. Nothing like Buppa to bring some close ranged aggressiveness to a character. His record against Kaqn's not as good with Hazama as Jin though, but I'm glad he's playing Hazama. I have some interest in Hazama, but really had trouble pulling things off with him. I'm somewhat reinvigorated after watching those vids. lol

I'll still see Zakiyama as the Hazama player, but Buppa as a different style of play. After all, Zakiyama invented a lot of Hazama's metagame in Japan.

Sorry for the lack of updates... I was traveling and couldn't keep it updated but I will do it ASAP.

Yeah. Plus, Zakiyama is a complete beast at IB. I'd be happy if I could do it 1/4 as consistently as him :|

What, Buppa's "boring Jin"?

He was on of the most, if not the most aggressive Jin I've ever seen. :psyduck:

You guys are lucky. He was my Jin hero :gonk:.

Anyway, I'm thinking of subbing Hazama (still atrociously bad though.)

I'll be sticking my nose around here.

You misunderstand me. Jin in CT was described as a "boring" character, because he didn't have a lot of the flashy stuff that other characters had. So Buppa plays Jin to his limits, very safe, not doing anything too risky and capitalizing counterhits into combos. When he switched to Hazama, he plays similarily as how he would play Jin. Zakiyama, on the other hand by comparison, goes for a lot of risk and does much more flashier combos.
