ghaleon109 Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 It registered as a hit during his BK startup, let him finish the animation, and then shot him up in the air. Just weird.. never seen that before. Usually as soon as JH hits it sends them up.. doesn't let them finish their animations.

Quick thoughts: Be more mindful when using your D's, keep an eye on Tager's Spark meter(!) and space yourself properly. You can bait Sledge. Learn stronger BnB's, doesn't have to be Tager specific but at least try and do [5B/5C, 3C, 214D~C, 5C, jc, j.Cx5, land, 2C, 4D~D, j.214B#] for added heat gain and damage. A decent air-to-air D combo is [j.D~C, j.Cx1, jc, j.Cx5, 214B], not great, but it beats doing [j.D~D, j.B, 214B]. Now, I'm off to bed.

Fireryda Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Only had a quick look but. Don't throw them out of the corner with 623D. Do more optimal combos. Such as when he whiffed 632146D. You should've 5C > Jayoku, would've done 4k+ easy. You're too fond of 623D RC j.6D combo. Don't use it too much, especially when you throw them out of the corner(why!?). Don't do it off a chain / 236C / 2A starter. Too much proration so it's not worth the heat used.
DF2K Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 The only time I use 623d RC is when I catch them with 623d close enough to where you can't combo after it. ie. 623d, RC, 214d-c.. Save the tension for jayoku, most of Jin's block strings are easy as hell to punish.

Using 6C that way is the way I use it but sometimes I use it ineffectively. He never hesitates and thats what I like. I need to takes notes and just go to work without a hesitant bone in my body. Ora just followed his instinct without second guessing himself.
