sanshiki Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 projectile invincibility is not the same as projectile autoguard.
lxMetalSonicxl Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 projectile invincibility is not the same as projectile autoguard. I guess that answers my question. Full Invincibility for the win.
Skye Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 BBl and Jin's 236D doesn't beat Sledge, not B Sledge, A Sledge maybe, but never B Sledge unless Tager does it way too late.

Skye Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Fair enough, but Jin's 236D is still unkosher.
Kaigu Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 At 15:02 in this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vch-Om1JV4Q Was that j.236C? I think so because from what I've seen and done, C versions have that red fade thing going on while B versions have green.
Zaido Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 one way to tell if its j236C or B or A C will make tsubaki glide downward, while B makes her fly forward, and A just stays in place and pushes her a little upward.
Kaigu Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 I'll get to mess around with her some more tomorrow. I'll keep that in mind. I'm curious to mess around with B invulnerability so I'll try that out with some projectiles and see what the best followup is.
Spud Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Is her j.236 series a good pressure option? Or really for anything outside of combos? I rarely see it at all now.
Zaido Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 only C Version is worth anything however its slow and probability someone poking you out of it is high? The Rest probably can get you punished on block D version should probalby always end with j214D but its a waste of lvl if you dont force them to gaurd with it or whatever... in other words not really useful out side of combos
choysauce Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 i see people use it as kind of an oki after a corner combo. cuz i think it removes 1 primer on block i think 236B might be useful for cross ups if the trajectory is good enough to allow that
Skye Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 I know I wanna have all sorts of fun with 22C/D. Get mindgamed.
Zaido Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 her 623 are projectile base DPs and 623A has inv until before it hits

Also IIRC she can combo off airthrow with j214D. j214C probably combos but I dunno if there's a worthwhile followup.

kro_ Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 I've hit with j.214a after a low to the ground airthrow. I don't think j.214d will combo after airthrow everywhere though. And I agree with Zaido about the j.236d thing, though I'd have to double check to make sure.
CrimsonDisaster Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 i believe you can only Cancel j236D if it hits to j214C... however you can always cancel a D special to another D Special if it allows even on whiff. pretty sure I've fought against Tsubaki doing j236D > j214C but I'm not near a machine so shrug.
Kaigu Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I never got j236D > j214C to work unless the j236D hit first.

Urichinan Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I can't wait to play Tsubaki on Continuum Shift! She seems to be a lot like Order-Sol from Guilty Gear who I hate with a passion, but for some reason I'm very fond of Tsubaki.

Kaigu Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 The only thing she has in common with Order-Sol is they both have a charge bar. That's about it.
Nov Ganon Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 so i finally got to play as tsubaki yesterday my (2nd day) playing bb cs i learned alot. tsubaki requires alot of spacing and set ups. i didnt try and cc combos i just did a bunch of BnB combos like 5bb>2BB>5CC well u know the rest i also learned that 2C is like rachels 6A it is a ass saver. they jump in wait and 2C them BnB. i still have alot to learn ima jin main but tsubaki def has alot of potential. while charging actually felt safe i did alot of 5D and 8D and by the time they would rush me i would have enough time to block. *warning* get used to the recovery times. be back tomar with new info
