hay at 8:23 theres some really nice combo. did anyone see the damage there?

Just tested it, it's 3.7k. Not much better than another combo with 2 charge, only about 200 more damage. I guess if you wanted to be flashy it's cool, but other than that, not all that useful. You can get 3.5k off of a throw with the same amount of charge at midscreen with B+C 22D 6CC 214D 2CC sjc j.C JC j.CC 236A 214C

Might not be a lot better, but its still better. People are always thinking up newer better combos and if you stick with your basic ones you'll be left behind in the dust.

Also damn that is one nice looking combo though.

i saw in a vid somewhere (i cant find it anymore), i think it was ginseng playing.

did a combo something like:

(corner) 623D, j.236D, j.214D, 5b, j.b, j.c, jc, j.c, j.c, 236a, 214c

is this character specific (he did it to tager)? can you do 5C, 2CC aircombo instead of 5b aircombo?

next question is, is it worth the charge, cause it looked flashy but i couldnt see how much damage it did.

I just did it to be flashy, don't worry about it. Normally you just do 623D, j.214D, 6CC, air combo.

Well flashy is a bit of an understatement, I was afraid of doing 623D j.214D because if he blocked, I was screwd, so I was going to cancel into the fireball anyways.

ah k so not worth the charge.

curious then ... is there every really a time where doing j.236D is worth it? in or out of combo except for cancelling a dp?

There's a weird combo involving 214A j.D cancel in the corner.

If I punish a DP, I can launch with 214D, 6C j.C > j.236a > j.214a, j.D cancel, OTG j.C, land 236236C.

Does 3961 damage with 1 gauge and 50% heat.

It doesn't combo if I try it from any starter that prorates worse than 5B 22D or 5C 22D ie. 5BB 22D won't work for the above combo. So Tsubaki can't combo this off 2B or 6A starters either.

I suppose if you want to back off and charge meter for matchups like Tager/Ragna this would be better than the 1 meter 50% heat mugen combo. Or if you didn't have enough meter to activate mugen at the start.

Looks flashy at any rate.

He means do it for a second, then immediately do j.C while landing, then use the remaining hitstun to do the super.

After doing a special in the air, you can't do another attack unless you use j.D for a bit, then you can start using normals, 2nd jump, or an air dash. However, you still get landing recovery from the j.D.

random meterless combo thats probably known but i only figured out the other day when opening the round with a 22b.

ch 22b, 5b, j.b, j.c, JC, j.c, j.c, j.236a, j.214c
