Except for Isa eddie. :o The tiers, especially at the top, in GGAC are so close it's silly to try and make a definite list for them. We know the general strengths of each character relative to the rest of the cast, which is more than enough at this point in the game.

That really depends on whether you mean they should be good enough to be S-tier or they should currently be recognized as S-tier. Your statement is kind-of ambiguous on that mark.

Personally i dont think pot could ever be S teir because of his speed. Sure he has ways to make up for it but they wont ever be as good as general running or air dashing.

Potemkin? Yeah, I can kinda see that. But Axl? Definitely not. His pokes are relatively slow; he has a hard time breaking out of pressure; his own pressure is entirely tension-dependent and pretty easy to predict; and his damage output is generally so-so. Certainly, he has a lot to make up for these weaknesses (enough to put him somewhere around high-B/low-A) but he's not top-tier by any stretch.

I could see AX being high A. He completely controls the air, has very good abare if you know what you're doing, and generally has above average damage output. Air control and large active frame counts make him pretty bad for a lot of characters. Honestly, though, I don't think he's got stuff that's as crazy as ED, TE, or SL. If he were a more solid and well-rounded character, I could see S-rank, but there's definitely something to be said for the fact that there are some situations where he's forced to just keep blocking and be really really good at 1FJing out at the right time, which makes some matchups pretty bad. So maybe JA strong, but probably not PO strong.

Eh, I don't claim to know for sure, but I notice the same trend as Hinta: (Though probably him more than me, since I'm just watching match vids)

Eddie is pretty broke, but he's staying the same and people can increasingly deal with his bullshit. Slayer and Testament both seem to be growing more, on top of the stupid stuff they were already doing near the beginning.

That's true, and definitely with Slayer considering how his damage output just seems to keep increasing. It just seems to me that Testament will eventually take the top spot with Slayer so close behind that it can be agrued that he is on par. As for now though, Eddie>Testament>Slayer seems to be how it stands. I guess given 6 months or so Eddie might move to being below those 2.... but never lower.
