Are the gaps, say like VF sized, where it's still very maneagable and possible for you to make up the difference even in a large scale tournament? I would also like to know which characters have so far placed in and/or won large scale GGXX tournaments thus far. Thanks in advance for any data.
Hellmonkey Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 The gaps are extremely small compared to most other fighters. Every character is tournament-worthy. The tournament results all over Japan have been extremely varied, Johnny is considered bottom tier but was in the semi-finals of SBO, whereas there was not one Baiken, ABA, hos, etc who are considered much higher.

Despite Ky's shortcomings, he made it seem like Ky could hang with S tiers as well. Thank you people now realise that Jam is fucking S tier she is not A tier suck my dick on that shit just get fucked up when you meet a Jam player!!!! You wonder why not alot of people play with her!!! I think my brain melted from reading this. Even though the thread has had it's casual, silly discussion moments, that kind of post is just downright ugly, adds nothing to the thread, and didn't need to be posted. :|

Testament is no less than a S tier because he doesn't have to work to win. Thats what Tier list is based on nowadays and why eddie/testament/Slayer and baiken are S. they just don't have to work hard to win. just learn what makes them good, get the execution down and you're already half way there. shit those new game chariot vids where shonen is destroying everyone is proof. where the lesser characters are breaking their backs to get something going and testament does nothing but take advantage of openings, this includes Isa playing a character that USED to rape testament and KA2 playing a character that USED to rape testament. Jam is not a S ranked character. She's good(She's A in my book) but she's also a character that has one real weapon, the loop. without it she can't do much to you. BUT the loop is very powerful because you have multiple ways to set it up. But thats all she has. In other words if she was a marvel character she would be Cable. and she's VERY comparable to XX sol.
