Here's the info copied from the AX website: http://www.anime-expo.org/programming/console-gaming/ Aksys Games is sponsoring these tournaments Location: LACC 404 Hours of Operation: Thursday, July 1, 2010: 10 AM – Midnight Friday, July 2, 2010: 10 AM – Midnight Saturday, July 3, 2010: 10 AM – Midnight Sunday, July 4, 2010: 10 AM – 6 PMEntry fee for each tournament is $5 - cash only Winnings split 70/20/10 w/ 10% of total fees going towards SPJAGuilty Gear (evening) - Friday Signups end at 5:30PM Tournament starts at 6 PM Rules: Double elimination Best 2 out of 3 rounds Random stage select, unless players agree on stage ahead of time. Loser may change characters in between games, winner must stay with the same character. 64 person cap Blaz Blue: Continuum Shift - Saturday Signups end at 10:30 AM Tournament starts at 12:30 PM at the Aksys booth Rules: [*] Single elimination [*] Best 2 out of 3 rounds [*] Random stage select, unless players agree on stage ahead of time. [*] Loser may change characters in between games, winner must stay with the same character. ryu-bi Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Do you have to register for the actual expo to enter a tourney? Pretty sure you need a badge for CS since the booth is located inside the dealer's hall It's kinda weird how CS signups and the actual tourney are in different rooms

Last year, they did they badges to even go inside the console room, and they do check for badges when you enter the exhibit hall. So, yes pretty much. If they don't follow that format, then lololol. 2 more days guys! :] Hope lots of people show up!

And my odds are probably good, if a bunch of random anime fans are going to sign up (Curse you, render and Zong!). A one-day pass isn't going to kill me, and at the very least I can check out cosplayers. So hey, Zong, it sounds like you're doing the same thing I am. Want to carpool? I'll split parking fees with you, and such.
