naw you guys missed the point. cancelling air steins into reversals. Mind = blown.

Unless they change other stuff, I think the barrier change is going to be to mu's advantage. Easier to get out of pressure, but with cancelling 5C into 236A we might just get better pressure ourselves if people are consistently using barrier.

Reading the main changes thread, Cirno translated the 214D change as "can be charged". Now this is making me think we can hold down the button to make a stronger/bigger explosion or something. Oh man I want to see these changes in action.

Ragna : carnage scissors has projectile invuln. Sadface, no more habayaa>scissors.

I wonder if you can do some ambiguous crossups or maybe even unblockable setups with air yata no kagami. Unblockable in the sense that if they hold back it crosses up and if they hold forward it doesn't cross up. (like this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COIrpJrts6s)

I'm thinking of how the 214D can be charged, I'd like it to be for as long as we hold down D. But I can imagine if it's for a set time, 214D combo's are still going to be incredibly specific. I can only see it being gdlk if we manage to land your opponent in the corner with 3-4 Steins, Hold D and apply pressure (6B, SoD, 2A whatever.), You could really rape his primers and he could do shit except burst.

So I'm trying to learn Mu.

Si far I'm trying to get used to her playstyle.

Any tips on how to approach (or anything, really) ono?

Time your approach with either a stein (charge or uncharged), or preferably a command laser (236D). Reset your pressure by cancelling a blocked C move into 236A. Use 236A as an anti-air, air-to-air, keepaway tool, rushdown tool, oki, just not in combos.

But mostly you'll want to keep away by safely placing Ds, one at a time, anti-air their jump in, use 236A a lot. Only start rushing down when you feel really confident about it, or if your opponent is lambda or hazama.

DO NOT IAD j.C A GROUNDED OPPONENT FOR NO VALID REASON.

Kind of hard to tell which offscreen stein it is in the second one, but I think it's j2[D]. Definitely gonna practice these later cause they look a lot easier/more practical than the other 9k combos and they kill Carl/Tao in one shot lol. Would love to use this on someone in a real match.

214D Delay Shenanigans.

X > 6C > 5C > 4C > 214D Pokerface

I can see that working miracles on Hakumen, Either way he eats explosions and a Combo (If he tries to drive early) Or loses a Primer. And he would waste 4 Magatama on Yukikaze. Because that's how he rolls. (ED: You would need to SJ xD that shit)

I was also thinking that if it is like SoD, Would they take 2 Primers? Or would that lead to setups that would even mess up Tagers primers?

Fuck, Bursting against Mu isn't worth it, anymore.
