this matchup is 10-0 in hazama's favor, because jayoku is unblockable online.

offline,

this has been a weird match in my experience. Mu's steins shouldn't be a problem for Hazama if he's poking effectively ( not letting her set them up ).

the mu's I've encountered offline try to use 6C as a poke, and that seems to be a -bad- idea from Hazama just IBing it, and dashing in with 3C into j.214B#.

if Hazama has meter, running in will get you eating 5.6k+, on the other hand I've baited Mu setting up steins for a free portal super as well.

on the note of Hazama using his stance of mixup, that is a -terrible- idea on his part and should immediately be capitalized on by Mu. the only thing he can do to attempt to get out of being hit while in stance is 214D~B ( the trapkick dp ) which you can block and punish ( it's like -20 something I think ), and stance cancel which is slow enough for you to CH hit if you catch on quick enough.

That's not serious, right. I don't fight many Hazama's, but I'm fairly positive I've blocked it before.

No, it's true. Online jayakou is VERY srs bsns.

Mu shouldn't be using raw 6c against haz. And l was completely unaware of 6a... l believe it has inv. frames. Maybe..

6C 63214C?

236A will block chains. So you can use the ground one to cover you while you set up in the air and vice versa. Of course, the move itself is too slow and will probably get you chained if you aren't very careful with it. But once you start getting steins up, the whole situation starts getting easy for you. It's just getting started...

And you can cancel 6C into whatever, so I'm pretty sure blinding dashing in after it is a bad idea for Haz.

after more practice against hazama this really does feel like the momentum swings are huge in this matchup. if i get the jump off early, i get a massive advantage off the bat, and once i get oki, i try to ltter the field with orbs and bait oroboros usage so i could dp them. then again, when hazama has the advantage i can't even get up from oki without a chain in my face, and my dp isn't as usefull since he can bait it and cancel out of it before he runs into it. Once that 50% heat is reached, i try so hard to stay out of the range of jayoku but eventually if i mess up im gonna get hit by it. i got to instant block those things...

so far i win most of them, but its still getting annoying to set up advantage when hes faking approaches like that... i may win a few rebels with rape but the match usually ends close.

Matchup is ass for Mu.

Going to say 6 to 6.5 Hazama's favor.

Yes, l went there, and l think that Hazama no doubt just outclasses her in everything, by alot.

Her only grace is his (alleged) lack of a good dp w/o meter, and her stupid ass oki into stupid 6b/crossup for (situational) soviet damage. if he gains 50 meter, you better respect the troll or suffer 5k neuclear chin music.

Worse than Bang? Close...

He doesn't, honestly. This matchup is VERY even. Just instead of trying to ZONE and SPACE everything, run in. Play as if you were using Rachel against Nu in CT. DON'T TRY AND ZONE and if you do, you better be damn sure you're doing it well.

i know this is not a Ragna topic but his tactic for Hazama can work the same for Mu

lf you can't zone him, then you're close range.

Hazama. Rapes. You.

Zoning and midrange is the only way out of it. Zoning fails. Midrange is quite silly.

This match is sad.

l really don't think you guys know how gdlk he is close range.

The only time Mu has a distinct advantage is after Hazama has been knocked down, his wakeup options suck. Typically, I approach this the same way I do rachel and Lambda and Rachel. Try to put a full screen between the two of you and zone (5D>2D>jD>j4D/j4[D] is really good). This will make it hard for him to throw chains recklessly. Lastly, remember you have a DP. Hazama isn't very good at pressuring people, watch for gaps, IB, and pick a good spot to DP his ass and go back to annoying him with stiens.

Personally I put it at 6-4 Haz, but a very winnable 6-4.

If any of you think this is actually still true, bless the mindfuckery curtain that has been pulled over our heads.

Hazama has, literally, everything Bang has. Command grab fo 40+ meter. Ticks, overheads, lows, crossups, escapes, tricks, mindfucks, everything. ALL SAFE btw.

l'm srsly about to sub him.

It's also all not very good. Hazama has frame traps, you can DP those if your used to fighting Haz. The worst place to be is in a situation where you cant space out or knock down Hazama. He will harass you from afar and you won't be able to set anything up.

I said 6-4, last time I checked that's a crappy matchup, I'm just saying what you have to do is fairly simple, it's just hard to pull off.

VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY hard to pull off, lol.

No match is impossible persé, but wow, Mu is def. Haz's bitch. (can be taken in any context)

Lol I dunno about you guys, but I don't play the sit and turtle Hazama so i'm usually trying to get in. From far away this is nearly impossible without getting sniped by one of her lazorz. Mu gets huge damage in her corner loop thingy that I see alot and she has plenty of ways to keep Hazama away. Only way Hazama gets upper hand in this matchup is getting in and staying in but doing that isn't as easy as it seems.

lol. Give me ways and i'll tell you how Haz counters it.

What exactly makes this matchup so bad for Mu? I know Hazama's pressure can be scary when done right, but (at least from my scrubby point of view) it seems pretty easy to keep him away with jC, 236A, and LAZORZ. Most of the Hazamas I've played have a hard time finding a way past Mu's zoning and lolnetplay so I'm just trying to understand why it's so bad for Mu.
