Quick question- how do I reliably jump cancel her df+C? Maybe it's just my stick but I can't do the df+C JC jD juggle ever, unless I like jump backwards which doesn't help me any.
TITANIUM BEAST!!! Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I don't really practice much with Hotaru. Most of the NC guys don't do the df+C JC jD juggle at all, they opt to go back into stance and do the stance D again for the far knockdown.

Yeah that's what I've been doing instead, lose some momentum but it's way easier and it's a knockdown.

Tiamat Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Well obviously yeah. The reason I mention it is because if I remember correctly, it looks a lot better in KOF XI which is what I was comparing it to. Cause I figured it would be the KOF XI sprite but I really don't remember it looking so bad lol.

Villainous Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I'm trying to learn mizuchi right now, he seems like he might be good. What's this infinite I hear of though? Also why couldn't they have made Asura good? Do all his normals have to be like......40 frames? I mean seriously.....why?

TITANIUM BEAST!!! Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Certain characters (Robert!) kill him for free, though. Also, all of his projectile pressure is jumpable, you just need to know the timing. Patience completely kills Asura.
