I dunno.... Where in NC are you? There's a few people who play in the Raleigh Durham area (Titanium Beast / Cerulean / RoboCurse), and then a good number of people in Charlotte too, and one or two in Greenville.

Who is going the the Elite Zone tournament? I am trying to bring a console setup, but I'm not sure what console to bring. I have an Xbox with KOF XIII and SCV on it, and a PS3 with 3SO, and SSFIV AE. The problem is having the opposite consoles for the games played. If its a problem I just won't bother bringing anything.

I got really busy with school work so I wasn't able to make the BB or GG tourney... =/ so I was just stuck with money. It was 3:30am Saturday morning and FR was only 20 minutes away. But I was try to take care of school work because I knew it would be suicide to put it off until Sunday evening.

Anyone who's interested in playing BB or Arcana tomorrow (Friday) in Raleigh :

I'm in NC, and bringing my PS3 to Jon's gathering (since I know other setups will have priority for Marvel 3, SFxT, etc).... Only thing is that I won't be bringing my TV, but I'm pretty sure we'd be able to use Jon's CRT. Hopefully I'll see some of you guys there. I wanna play some anime games!!

I know a small handful of people here post in the NC thread on Homingcancel.com, have any of you gotten malware from it? I have before, and Google Chrome blocked it for me just now, thankfully.

Kinda random, but I wanted to ask some of you guys if it happened to any of you before. I've also had SRK do it once or twice.

I generally check homingcancel.com once a day or every other day and I haven't gotten anything from it. On the other hand, while it didn't happen it on my computer, I did get something off of SRK once when I was looking up something for a friend on his computer.

You're near Cary, you should have some people there. Not sure about who from this thread, but last I checked LingMassacre was residing in Cary on SRK.

But since you're also near Raleigh you're in luck.

Sup guys? Just moved to Raleigh give or take a month ago. I did a lot of play back before China Town Fair closed down and went to Big Two here and there. Why go to the city when your bands guitarist owns a comic shop that host sessions twice a week, right? Anyway, without those resources I'm flat out on my ass down here without any legit opponents. My roommate dabbles in SC5, not saying he's bad but I'm his mentor he hasn't surpassed me yet, and I want to get on that CSEX or some GG more than anything. Where do you kids play down here? Hows the local scene? Tell me everything :3

Morrisville is pretty much Cary area. Surprised to finally see someone living there post up since thats where I grew up for the first 10 years of my life.

Unfortunately guys, the anime fighting scene here has pretty much died. I'm hoping that GG on psn/live will revive it a little bit. Try to go on shoryuken or facebook and hit up Jon Slayton who typically has sessions but its mainly UMVC3 and KOF. SC5 is 100% dead. If you do make it to Slaytons gatherings, and happen to bring a BB setup, I will certainly play that with you.
