RoboCurse Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 BB getting any love up there? we had a set up for bb at jons gathering last friday. played this relius that was really good. i'm going to have to actually learn this game more if we keep playing. the dude was talkin about havin a bb tourney at the next WNB but I dunno if people will actually enter with Armando and Blake around lol

You guys have no idea. :V I'll be playing games at Lingmassacre's gathering in Cary this Saturday (and bringing a CRT + PS3 dedicated to BB and AH3), in case anyone wants to stop by and play.

I hope it gets a decent turnout though... the last BB tournament I traveled to didn't even happen. @Robo: Aren't there some other players coming from that area you could carpool with?

I wish I could still come out to ReSe for BB cause it wasn't awfully far, but my parents couldn't give two fucks about me playing in tournaments, big or small. They want me to focus on real life stuff and I don't blame em, but man it sucks knowing I'm missing tourneys. What was the turnout like? As long as people play BB3 then I'm good. 7thFonon Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 You could prolly just ask one of the Charlotte locals to drive you to ReSe if your parents won't. ReSe is in the same city, so it probably wouldn't be too much of a hassle for someone to get you there.

Should have entered AH3 too though, I was shaking off the rust pretty fast in that game. It helps that Fiona's combos are mostly not hard though (I say mostly because of ef loops, which have quite possibly the most awkward timing of any combo I've ever considered close to BnB status).
