Zoogstin Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Pretty much every character introduced after CT is fun/interesting. I pretty much agree. Had very little interest in any of the first batch of characters. Carl looked (and still looks) stupid. Nirvana was the only cool thing about him.
7thFonon Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 I liked CT's character designs for the most part. Only two character designs I didn't like in BB are Arakune and Taokaka. Carl is cool though since he makes guest appearances in Arcana Heart. Anyways, I'll see you guys at State soon.

I don't think once a month is enough for us to really level up at a good place, though everyone definitely improves at these gatherings (at least I hope so). Already working on Hazama matchup stuffz, this is assuming I stick with Ragna and don't go my previously planned route of maining Makoto for srs bidness play. Anyway, GGs to everyone I played, see you guys next time around. Won't be available this weekend.

Nerfs be damned, just DeadspikexN that shit down. I don't know if I'm gonna enter BB at Lucky's seeing as how I haven't played it offline yet, but I'll be down to get squished in casuals. The more I look at things the more I think CS2 might be my favorite game of the new class alongside MK, and nobody's fucking playing MK .

Yeah, I'd say playing 2 or 3 times a month is good (while being a realistic number at the same time) for people who really wanna level up / travel for a game. At least that's how I feel. I would never do a major or something for a game I play once a month (assuming that's what people are shooting for). I could be wrong, but I think most of the areas that produce strong players meet up way more often. I know schedules don't line up and everyone is always busy with real life, so it's really whatever we can manage. Better to make the best of the time we have than complain about not having enough time, I suppose. Matt, I wanna main Ragna, but I feel like I have to actually think when I play him, and thinking in BB just makes my blood boil. I over-think my offense too often and end up getting mashed on. Then I rage and can't concentrate anymore. I dunno why GG is the only game where I can sorta keep my cool while I'm playing.

Because we have to actually respect Hos's pressure. I don't have any of Carl's stuff down packed yet but I'm seriously going to need to play another character. Carl is good, REAL good, but he's so one-dimensional now. I plan on picking up Rachel for fun. But to be clear, Carl will always be my main. I''m not dropping him anytime soon. Right now I'm enjoying Marvel more because Joe and Ironman together are pretty retarded.

It keeps you on your toes.

If anything, it definitely put things into perspective. Meeting up at least three times a month would be nice. For those who came, how'd you like it? Probably not the best place to advertise the game, but I thought it worked for getting some casuals in.
