In Guilty Gear related news: I'm improving quite a bit when it comes to the technical aspect of playing I-no, which is quite exciting to me. I can actually chemical love -> airdash with some consistency and am starting to practice combos that use it. One problem I do have is that if I do something like 6p 5h hcl airdash j.s vcl I won't get a falling vcl which means I would need to frc that as well if I wanted to combo after that. I'm still not sure if it's because I'm not getting the j.s out fast enough after the airdash or if I'm taking too long to do the vcl after the j.s. I'm also working on using a falling vcl as a meaty attack. There are so many different things you can do with it. This games so good. More people need to play it.

I'm okay with this guy so far. I don't know what the FPS scene is like, but I can imagine a scenario like the one he's painting for us. If you have a huuuge mass of scrubs and casual players, I imagine there are several that boast which have absolutely no accomplishments or skill, and the actually good players have to try harder to stand out when they need to be noticed or come across with intentions like this guy's (wanting to session with someone regularly). In the fighting game scene, we can easily look up and see who's really good because there's not so many of us, but there's a big FPS tournament like every weekend and so many of them don't leave their houses because the generation/mindset is so different. It's definitely odd with the craigslist thing. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy came with a heaping helping of Asperger's, then again, he could just be very active/desperate. Have to reserve judgment until I meet him, at which point I can poke fun at him on Dustloop without remorse etc.

I don't think it's unreasonable for us to have these impressions of him, and I think he would have to agree if he has a decent grasp of reality. I think I'd feel fine being confronted with anything I've said on here, it's not like I won't say things in person! Except Ed, can't level with that guy, but he seems out of commission lately anyway. The fact that CS2 rachel doesn't suck horribly makes me slightly interested in the game again. But since I don't have a ps3/360 I probably won't be playing it or caring much beyond watching rachel vids.
