Like I said, GG is dead nigga.

I'd say people still play GG. Sure, it's not as big as it once was, but there are still a bunch of old-school players left, there's occasional new blood in the scene... Plus NCI's GG tourney had only 6 fewer entrants than BB.

This would be valid if you were actually good or were ever good.

I would say GG is pretty dead in America. Sure, small pockets of people play it in NorCal, but aside from a few places here and there around the states, the game is about as alive as CvS2.

Hey im new to the scene in north cali. I am moving later next month and was wondering what the scene is like and where the good arcades are at. I see alot of hype in videos of tournaments of cali players and coming from canada where our community is a bit small id like to see all the different players.

I dont play much CS and when i do i just scum out tager with hard gimmicks. My May in GG is serious though so if any1 still plays that ancient game gimme a holler and ill show u the gimmicks.

But that won't stop me from playing it, even if I have to relearn every mechanic again from scratch. Also got into BB but way more casually at the moment as I still don't like it over GG. Anyway, hope to see old and new faces sometime for the next two weeks I'm around before I head to Arizona.

As for the Drom's BBCS tournament, that sounds nice. At least you are trying to get BB:CS hype here in Sacramento/Davis. I'll see if I can go to that one.

Naw, it's valid regardless 'cause you're not, and you're the one saying it. That's a common logical fallacy known as Denying the antecedent. See, since my original assertion is that you only say GG's dead because you suck, the fact that I suck too doesn't imply that I'm wrong, since you're drawing the fallacious conclusion that since saying GG is dead implies that you suck, not saying GG's dead must imply not sucking.

It's okay though. No one expects Americans to understand basic logic.
