Skubator Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Where's the Sac crew and the A-1 comics casuals? Understandably, everyone has either school or work as of right now, but if Sac really wants to grow, we need to start being serious out there, as well as spreading the word throughout Sacramento. There are a decent number of Sac players who (I assume) still want something to happen. Tofurr, Van, Arvoyea and myself have all expressed interest in having casuals out here. Only problem is no one is setting anything up. I'm guessing everyone else is just as busy with school as I am, and thusly don't have time to plan casual sessions.

That's why I posted the pic with God Hand reference, I'm hungry for getting better at this game. But having to buy Extend made me feel like giving up BB at one time honestly. I've only gotten worse since CT.

I don't know how many are aware, but NorCal BB is a laughing stock for west coast BB. SoCal and PNW pretty much laugh at NorCal BB. NorCal BB is free compared to PNW and SoCal.

Tone Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 People need to get serious sessions going on. I want to improve, but there doesn't seem to be anything scheduled and organized for BB going. Agi was talking about GC weekly sessions, which would be great. Or you could always drive to Fairfield on Fridays, I could def. Get at least two setups going at Ramnation if people are down to play.

Er...Well it was talking to him about the one Jeff is setting up so if you wanna get better, come to those. We talked about even setting something up for the people who have to drive 1 1/2-2ish hours away(Mainly pertains to Sac people as theres a good number of you) to help with Gas/Toll costs should the more local players agree to it. But we'll see how that turns out. Hopefully we can get something good going and level up as I've been itching to play more but can't cause well...No one ever wants to around here :v Other than that...Well not much we can do unless someone else has any ideas for a gathering as with everyone being scattered like this, consistent gatherings are a bitch to setup cause someone gets screwed over on driving either way which just leads to those getting screwed over not wanting to go in the first place :v So long story short, we've got one gathering in the works at GC that will hopefully bring the crowd in. This is meant to be as inviting to both newer players and seasoned players alike so if you don't wanna show up, your own loss for not taking the chance to improve this "laughing-stock" :3

My hope is that if these GC gatherings pick up well, we can put some drive back into the scene right around the time Extend comes out and then really bust our asses to get better :3
Tone Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Again, people are more than welcome to come to our weeklies in Fairfield, I own two BB setups I could get going. Its also a viable spot, centered between everything [about 40 minutes from both SF area, and Sac area, about 20-30 minutes more if youre from south bay], and more than anything, consistent. Would also be good if people are trying to learn KOFXIII soon, since people will be playing a lot here. Also, for the record, Southtown could potentially upgrade their BBCS2 cab to Extend, but like everything else, people would have to show the game some love over there.

As for Southtown, I would like an Extend cab to have access too, only issue the area around Southtown is a bitch to deal with parking wise:v: But thats just a personal gripe as I'd sure as hell find some time to head out there if they got Extend :3

DA TRUTH! it was very hype but it was not very high level after i left the tournament i vomited at how bad my play was. i would very much like 2 level up cause i hate to lose but i don't think i would be able to make it out to that many bi weekly ranbats i will definitely try but i just dont know @Orion: man there are alot of things that I was doing horribly idk about the other top 3 but i could give you a 2 page list of what i was doing wrong @Tone i will be going to Southtown alot (since i can just take bart right next to it) during my next school break to learn more about Kof so while i am there i will be showing the bb cab some serious love
