There was an article on SRK about the pros and cons of the Nesica live system, and apparently one of the "cons" is that the software is very easily pirated. So maybe they pirated CS2 and put it on a harddrive, which they're sending over to the fiends in Toronto?

Man, if this actually goes down, Lovegety will be crawling with Americans too, this will be awesome. AE and CS2 = best Christmas break in history.

I haven't been following the new footage too closely, why is Noel suddenly the best?

noel's good because of buffed normals and the fact that they didn't nerf her drive damage. she still does a ton of damage midscreen thanks to her drives. it doesn't matter that her drives are unsafe, the damage is quite significant (lol 6k drive combo thanks to improved minimum damage on her supers).

noel's going to drop in the tier list as time goes on though, because people will learn to defend against drives and i think the damage output for other characters is going to increase.

i think hazama, litchi and tao will all have a good chance of moving up in the tier list ... again.

makoto and arakune will stay good.

p.s. anyone who's sane knows cs2 looks like ass.

good thing i can just spend time trolling pui with plat.

Hopefully gety boss didn't get scammed, but if Tofu is right then maybe it really is just a pirated copy. Though the idea of nesica being easily pirated sounds weird, since you'd think a system that relies so heavily on an internet connection with a supplier would be the exact opposite.

Well it's not like that system is going to be perfect. For all we know, the only checks the system/game does is for whether PAID = 0 or PAID = 1 xD

They don't work like computer games with many years of trying to beat the pirates, but losing to ninjas.

BBCS2 supports some sort of "offline" mode for times when the nesica server is down.

while nobody is sure what actually happens during this offline mode, (how they keep track of # of plays to charge the guy, etc), but for all we know, to pirate BBCS2 might just mean to download the game in japan and ship the whole thing over and use it in offline mode with some sort of hack to get rid of like the charging/stuff.
