Anyways, if everyone in a fighting game cast is broken it's a lot more fun. SF4 is seen as a game far from broken, what do people complain about with regards to SF4? They complain it's too slow, why? Because nothing is broken, stop whining. It's as if 95% of dustloop members,

since the release of Blazblue

never played FG's before.

Tries to understand Blade's point and how the argument that SF4 is really slow is countered by the fact that nothing's broken. Remembers he's a nigga like me and don't make no sense.

Ver 1.01 turned the netplay into shit :/

It decreased the load times on various aspects (character select, profile updating, syncing) but in turn the failure to connect rate rocketed (I couldn't get a rank match to save my life, I had 3 out of nearly 50 tries...) and there is now MASSIVE input delay, all my matches looked like they were running smoothly but I couldn't connect ANY combos, or moves for that matter, to save my life. Cost me matches that I shouldn't have lost against really bad players. Now I see why the have a lag simulator in training mode, good shit Capcom, but next time you try to update something make sure it actually improves the game :/

If longer load times (which I had put behind me after day 2) is the trade off for playable online then so be it. Here's hoping 1.02 comes soon...

Dunno why there's all this Ken talk, but I recall a few of the old heads dissecting this kinda shizz some time ago where the conclusion was that the traditional shoto moveset just doesn't do well in a game with a super jump screen. Hence the conclusion that any Marvel Vs. game where Ryu or Ken is top tier has problems.

As for being broken. The game's only broken if you consider high damage, touch of death games broken. Heck, in a 3-v-3 game like this, touch of death is absolutely fine especially since they took out the thing that allowed for 300% combos in MvC2 (guard breaking incoming characters).

So.... about that Marvel game.

Has anyone been messing around with Spencer? Right now I'm trying to find assist that work with him and I've had the most success with Doom (rocks) and Haggar (lariat).

Lol, the patch did the opposite for me. Netplay is now good, and it connects faster. Yay.

On the other hand, this game is goddamn broke. It's still fun, but there's no way I could ever take it seriously.

Damnit SRK, broke does not always equal fun! Look at GG, you have to spend resources to break your character. It's very balanced in that regard, and most certainly fun as hell. -_-;

See, this is why I wait till games are on their way out in terms of popularity. Let all the professional combo freaks have their fun first, pwn or whatever, then I get to have fun with what's left.

Really? For me the netplay the best it's ever been. Nearly lagless
