It makes for some hype shit and it makes everyone get to know each other a bit better. Plus team names would be pretty funny too for instance, I'd wanna team with Nate so we can be team "Big Bitches" :3 But on a more constructive note, I was thinking that we could either do 2v2s as a side event at the usual ranbats OR alternate each month between singles and 2v2s. Singles are hype, but when someone OCVs the other team from near loss, people fucking shit their pants with hype! I want to have 2v2 so I can team up with my friend that plays Ragna. Team "INFERNO COLLIDER!"
Kijiyama Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 If you would rather have teams instead of singles, then change the format for no more singles and make it just a team tourny. the schedule already runs too long and given how we run on norcal time (everything scheduled takes 2/3 hours longer to start/end) it's either drop singles and go team tourny or not have teams. Unless people want to come out for teams and having them random then that'd be fine.

Its in Bellevue, Washington. And we need a driver. If anyone is interested in driving us, or know of anyone who can drive us, there will be financial coverage/pay you for driving us, and you'll get to catch on the PNW scene with Spark, Huey, PlasticChicken, etc. Also Canadian players are coming as well. Plus me and Dacid. So it will be a big facing. And i'll be doing my usual recording thing. We just would like someone to drive me and Dacid! :D

I doubt you intend to drive up there, hit up the tourney, and then turn straight back around and come back, so what are the arrangements there? Does someone have a house set up, or is there a hotel? My saved up money is running low and I have not been able to find a job yet, so if I have to pay for a hotel room that might not happen unless I ask my parents to hit me up with a loan or something lol. C. I drive a little ass Dodge Neon. So whoever has to sit in the back -might- not be in the most comfortable of positions lol. D. If I did do this, I would have to clean my car. This has no bearing on my decision, but I want you to know how much pain I will be going through. =3 E. I r crazy driver.

Its still up in the air, we can talk about it B. Its planned for a bout 3 days. It is a one day tournament but we are mostly driving and hanging out with PNW I guess. They're pretty chill. As for housing we're working on it. C. 3 people could work with it. I am skinny. But the long drive will probably have a lot of breaks. D. Im a clean freak i can clean it lol E. Dacid can drive lol

Even though polka pointed out a cheap one for 50 bucks a night, but thats still too much. Didn't Dacid say he was going to SoCal Regionals instead??? He's on the hinge. If he goes down there the pot is bigger but its harder to get into top 4 to even START covering his traveling expenses. If he goes to PNW, he'll be able to commentate, MM cake for 50 bucks, and I'll be able to record. There's some team like team spooky already on recording at the socal regionals, so if i go down there all im gonna do is just sit there and talk to people =w=

PNW will be more varied(Cali/Washington/Canada), recording will be done by me, Dacid will be able to commentate, and he'll have guarenteed MM's. Farther though. SCR will have all our friends, and a possible big pot. But no control over any of the media.

Also, from what video I saw, pulsr has a rediculously huge house but we definitely gotta ask first. If its not as stressful to go south, then we might as well go south. I would also like to finally fuckin meet EARL :3 jesus I've met pretty much every player on the west coast except for goddamn render lol. Also, if Xie is coming too, that would top it off, because I'd like to talk to him about some things. Lets not factor out PNW just yet. We'll look at the pro's and con's of both financially, timewise, housing, and pot size to see where we'll go.
