Date will not change from November 6th unless a compelling argument is given by tournament bracket organizers in MB, GG, and BB.

There is a possibility NCI will be sponsored by Microsoft for XBOX360 setups for BlazBlue and other prizes, but the negotiations are still in progress.

I will be on floor the entire time this upcoming month, as I was previous NCI, checking on everything. I would really appreciate if people voiced concerns at site than tell me as an afterward in a thread tucked on the internet after a believed success; going back to "You had to be an idiot to think everything was ok"-type statements are very disheartening and after the fact. When I check on rooms, I genuinely want to know what could be wrong or what is changed; I really mean it, tell me exactly what you want and I'll work it out.

Expect more info in the upcoming week, despite the BB event in SoCal and other assorted events in the region, at its core NCI is NCI for all games equally, and I will honor at least those sentiments.

Looking forward to hosting the venue again. Expect a new thread with relevant information for convenience.

While I agree that 360<PS3 in terms of ease of use for BB, we're talking about a major sponsor here. With the words "Sponsored by MicroSoft" on our flyers/posts etc. we could get some real coverage and get a lot more people to show up. i have a 360, a lagless vga monitor setup, dlc, and a stick (and can easily obtain a second, or even third or fourth) that can be used for NCI if it makes the switch over to 360

oh, and i'll be bringing a CRT + PS2 for melty on the 6th. I guess I could bring a copy of GG too if you guys REALLY NEED IT. I guess.

I'm not going to run a tournament on 360 if it requires a bunch of people to borrow sticks and delay the tournament.

I'd also like to know what is the extent of this potential "sponsorship", because I have no idea what the hell Microsoft would gain from sponsoring a small event that brings maybe around 50 people for a semi-popular game, a dead game, and a game that only got seven people in it last time.

It should NEVER happen unless the "sponsorship" brings you guys like 10 sets of TE stick

or you guys get some big reward from them by running the tourney with only 360. lol

Let's go ahead and assume we do get sponsorship from microsoft. Would we be allowed to ONLY use 360s? Why couldn't we have a mix of the two? Also, if they are sponsoring it, I don't think asking for some sticks is unreasonable.
