what time? me and the 2 other people from BC might be able to make it if it's at night, since we'll be getting into bellevue around noon.

edit: also we're all 100% on the hotel, got a room booked and stuff.

It technically starts at 6:00 PM, but most people show up after 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. At any case it lasts until midnight. If you're showing up, it's recommended you bring a setup, since more setups = more fun~

Also where at Digipen do you hold the meetups? Not sure if I can make it this Friday but I'd be interested to know for future reference. I've never been to the Digipen campus.

Ah it's all one building, so it's not too hard to find your way around. The room name is Van Gogh, which is towards the end of the hall on the left if you take the first right (not the staircase) after you enter from the front.

2) Options we have for casuals are: Gaming Room at Akicon, Hotel room, Spark's apartment, and DigiPen

3) Other than the Gaming Room at Akicon, I know 2 hotel rooms that are available for casuals in Hilton: Polka's and Cake's

4) The Gaming Room is relatively small and there are other people playing other games as well

5) Kaigu and I don't have the Friday pass, so we're thinking of setting up BB in a hotel room anyway (Polka's room for now), unless we can play elsewhere

my room is available for casuals the whole weekend and monday too. we're not buying a pass for the convention other than the day of the tournament, so if there's a pre-determined spot where casuals will happen, it should be somewhere outside of akicon imo.

as for staying in contact, no one has a cell phone that they can call people on in america without it costing ridiculous cash. so any communication will be via dustloop or hotel phone.

as for BB on friday, you guys are very welcome in our hotel room, but like i said we won't get in until around noon.

digipen is sounding like the best choice for casuals to me so far, just communicate and make sure to post here when stuff will be happening and where, or if you're already playing casuals somewhere and if people are welcome to come and join.
