I own a PS3 and a copy of BBCSEX, and live in Springfield, OR - very close to Autzen Stadium, IIRC (I can, and actually have, walked there before). I'm always eager to meet fresh new faces, to see and hear new sights and sounds, and honestly? I just hate playing BlazBlue by myself, goddammit! PSN is renvalt32, I'm still in the process of deciding a main (although Hakumen, Jin, and Makoto are the few characters that look appealing to me). Right now I need to dissipate my bull-like rage in FGs.

As probably the only person who even knows about GG existing within the Eugene/Springfield area (let alone caring about playing it well in the slightest) I can most definitely empathize with your situation. That said, I am actually kinda interested in BB, though I don't really know very much about the game, since I don't have a PS3 or a 360 I can't exactly practice it on my own time. Does GG interest you at all, by any chance?
Renvalt Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Oi, you are not the only one who knows about its existence, and I've wanted to play it for a good amount of time (long before I even considered BlazBlue, too - it was GG that led me to BB). One problem, though - you'll need to pony up the game, because I don't own it. If it's PS2, then you're gonna need to pony up the console, controllers, AND game. Because, well.... mine got jacked by a burglar last year.

For those of you that didn't go to NWM 4 you missed out on some excellent matches and games. I just want to do a shameless plug. I started my own tournament series in the Tacoma/Lakewood area. It's called Tech Hit! I have to admit that the PNW group of anime fighters are probably the best company I had while streaming. You guys didn't really bitch me out when my equipment bugged out on me and I think it was Patrick Li? that educated me about the game. I don't really play BB, I specialize in 3D games, but its fun to watch and I want to add more games to the events I organize. So I'm starting Poverty Fights R1. It will host KOF XIII, Skullgilrs, and BB:CS EX. Games can be added and subtracted. If any of you are interested I am starting a Concrete Classics tournament on Wednesdays, that will host older games like GGAC, ST, CvS2, etc... Also I think Huey's Ranbats are on hiatus? correct me if I'm wrong. Don't forget to about Huey's PNW Monthly tournament starting on June 29th at Gamebreakerz streamed by LoigcHoleFlaw.

You can join us on irc, getserious, since our dustloop thread is pretty dead these days. If you are interested in getting some games in, then you can join us in our meets in Renton and Tacoma. We usually meet once or twice a week and play BB and GG. In fact, we are having a meet later today in Renton.

And I'm usually up for BB, but I never practice it so I'm mediocre at best, trying to get by on fundamentals from other games.
