Kinda, but its all about preference.

I like octagonal gates better because you can feel the corners for the inputs.

yes it is all about preference.

what i suggest is to get different types and try them to see wich one you prefer.

What size Sanwa buttons should I get for my RAP? The 24mm or the 30mm.

30mm for the action buttons , I recommand you snap-in and 24mm for the start and select buttons, snap-in as well.

Stock? Um.... cheap imitation parts? I dunno, I felt one the other day and..... no, just no.

I'm a spoiled HRAP with sanwa buttons user now lol. Shit, I've got 2 Mirror tops and 2 HRAP2s D:

The parts in the T5 stick are actually pretty good out of box. Only mod it if you really want to. Actually it's probably ther best stick readily available on the US market.

What I like about the T5 stick is how it doesen't magically brake down like a HORI ;( Seriously, this is complete bullshit what happen.

Posted

Speaking of HORI, they suck.

Mine died in less than a month, no lie.

I think that you got unlucky bc if you look around on the www you wont find many people complaining about the quality of the HRAP, I own one with sanwa buttons and it is the best stick i ever had.

my advice is: make someone qualified have a look at your stick to check and test the pcb and connections.

Single key dust has been there since erm.. XX? And no, Slash is single key dust. o_O And er.. o_O Slash is auto turning.... And you seem disappointed.. :(

Posted

Yes, I know xx supports single key dust but isuka doesn't. Isuka also uses manual turning so I thought they might implement that one too. Thanks for you reply. I'm actually pleased instead of disappointed ^_^. Who'd want the trouble of hitting two keys for dust anyway. :china:

Speaking of controls, does slash support single key dust? Or are they like isuka (s+hs)? One more thing, did they retain manual turning?

Wow man you confuse me. You preach about some crazy BS in one thread and here you seem to have never played Slash at all... Like here:

Feel like explaing where the fuck you come up with this crap?

Also you had to hit slash + hardslash for Dust in the original :P

Since i finally got my stick. What fingers do you use..i mean do you use all of them(Thumb/punch,Index/kick,Middle/slash,Ring/HSlash,Pinky/Dust) or do you multitask with some fingers..cause i cant remember the last time i used my pinky..shit the stick reminded me of it.

Posted

people that don't use their pinky confuse me, but maybe that's just the standard. i use it cuz i play musical instruments, so it's natural for my pinky to be pushing keys--err buttons and stuff. i think most people multi-task ring finger with HS and D, although I think people that play some characters (Eddie?) have to use all fingers, or do something beside the norm. shrugshrug

I use all five. But yeah some people mention that they don't use their pinky and I heard one person mention that they don't use their thumb. That one just blew my mind.
