My love for fighting games had starting growing back again to me with KoF 2002, a few years ago.

Hyped for KoF XII, the whole world said it sucked.

I saw BlazBlue and it looked prettier and funner, looked so badass.

Bought it, mained Noel and Ragna until I've tried everyone and became a Jin mainer.

At first I bought CT because I was into air combos at the time, and Taokaka looked like she had really interesting air combos. But I couldn't deal, so I tried v-13. Then when I was playing arcade mode, I got killed by Rachel and so I tried her because I thought she looked interesting. I played her for the rest of my CT life.

Then CS came out and I tried Tager until Mu-12 was unlocked, but I thought she was disappointing to me so I went for Arakune. :V

What atracted me to blaz blue was this:

1. Guilty gear

2. Music by Ishiwatari san.

3. Awemome 3D stage art.

4. The freaking awesome character desing (reachel of course my favorite)

5. First Next Gen fighting game in Real HD................(ok, SSFHD remix was first , but that was a remake, blazblue is a new saga).

And for last, the complex story, that are actually not found in other fighting games.

PD: And of couse this trailer that i found in youtube back un 2007

Playing SF forever and saying I WANT SOMETHING NEW so I picked up a fighting game with a flashy cover.

I like fighters in general.

I love gg.

BBCT being advertised as "spiritual successor to gg franchise"

That's about it.

Guilty Gear was showing no signs of continuation. Heard BlazBlue was Arc's new project/used the same engine. So I bought it.

Now ask me what got me out of it.

i used to play brawl competitively, then i ended up getting fed up because of how STUPID that game is so it was time to look for a new fighting game. then i heard about blazblue and saw of videos of it and first i saw was hakumen. so i thought "i might end up maining him if i get this game." later on i get my ps3 and blazblue then ended up maining nu then sub tager. then started to realize nu wasn't that fun to use and made tager my main.

now thanks to blazblue i'm now interested in trying out guilty gear. :D

I bought Blazblue CT so I would have something to play while waiting for SSF4 to drop. What actually happened was I got tired of SSF4 really fast but Blazblue remained fun and interesting for me.

I actually heard about CT through the Fighters Generation website... It's where I normally go to get my all around fighting game news fix and BAM! There it was.. watched the trailer and was hooked.

Oh god, why'd you have to remind me that site existed. I used to get so annoyed by the bad opinions in the character site, and looking it again that hasn't changed. Noel gets a 5/5, but Dizzy is only a 3.5, and May is 2.5? You have bad taste, sir.

Man, I haven't been there in at least 4 years. I don't usually just forget sites exist, I must've blocked it out.

Short story

Was looking at some gg discussion, saw someone post, "Isnt arc coming out with a new game blazblue? lt's supposed to be an older guilty gear. l dunno it looks pretty gay though..."...roughly.

l was piqued. l u tuubed blazblue, watched a vid of them doing astrals. (At the time l thought it was just supers so l had dat wow face). lt got to rachel, l saw her astral and was like...

"I have to get a ps3. And then this game"

Whut plz?

His answer is probably full of crap, considering he didn't even know what FRCs added to GG until earlier this month.

Was in a Game Crazy with one of my friends, he said he was picking up a copy of a new fighting game, said it was by the GG guys. The store only got 3 copies, decided to take one of them.

Smart man

My friend was into GG and then BB. He always beat me up like nothing when we played together. Obviously i had no idea what i was doing at the time and was just mashing buttons. So i decided to actually buy CT one day and learned it to beat him.

We play all the time now and it's been fun.

I remember that I read about BB being the "spiritual successor" (lol) to GG, and since I was into it I decided to watch a vid, and 720p on youtube just got me right away. Very nice graphics and a cool combo system, and I loved how detailed everything was.

Now, you made me wonder: How did I get into GG ?

I can't remember at all :(

A friend introduced it to me. I had heard of it before, though, since I played GG a lot back then, but I never really got around to tryin it out until he showed to me.

Long, long ago, I liked Samurai Shodown IV and Waku Waku 7. Played the hell out of them on emulators, got way too good at doing fighting game motions on a keyboard, thought they both were pretty damn sweet. Then, a friend of mine was into Guilty Gear, we played it a bit, and I loved it.

But then when I tried to actually get good at it rather than throwing out random attacks trying to land the 2 or 3 combos I knew... it was just too hard. Also no new GGs were coming out and nobody around played it. Then BlazBlue showed up, was made by the same people, similar system... so I was thinking, "that's pretty cool." Then I played it and found out that the game is like slow-motion Guilty Gear so I can actually learn how to play, and I was hooked.

Tried going back to GG lately. Still can't play that game worth crap, or even pull off BnBs in training. :/

A friend showed me some videos of BlazBlue, but what really caught me was how badass the Distortions look. Especially the shattering background with the emblem into the awesome azure. That's what initially got me 'Omg that's cool' or interested in BlazBlue.

I'm sorry, I'm just attracted to awesome graphics
