Ryu Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Idk I my ping can handle 60 fps online. The closet arcade is 40 miles away and I dont even know if they have Guilty Gear. LOL
ghost333 Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 http://rapidshare.com/files/129945042/tuto.wmv.html k hope that help u also a stand alone tk chemical love usually have the dust that comes when u jump but in a combo it might not get animated
feri Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 The problem is that your inputting the 6 after the frc too slow, otherwise your input is fine.
Ryu Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Ghost was right about the lag. It lags at the frc. For ground combos I have to do 6 frc 66 for it to work.
Stryfe Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I also have trouble with the CL airdash at times. Feri, do you use the D-Pad? How are you doing with the CL FRC airdashes?
feri Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Yeah, I use a dpad (raised one btw). Both BMS and Vegta also use dpads I hear. For starters I have FRC macro set on r1. After a hs 360 CL i'd press the first 6 a fraction of a second (not right on but as close to it as possible... if that makes sense) after she says the teh or ai sound, not on reaction to it, just a reminder for where I have to time it. If its not coming out do the whole thing faster. Practice just pressing 6frc6 really fast, it helps. If your playing #R delay the 6frc6 after the cue a tad more compared to ac. If it doesn't work try visual cues. If that doesn't work then your stuck with practicing muscle memory (good for playing on laggy HD tvs). I hope you don't play loads of different chars cause just getting consistency on it can take weeks/months but you'll get there if you want it enough, trust me
Stryfe Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Ok, now this all makes sense. I didn't button map my FRCs! Wow, so basically I've been creating more work for myself for absolutely no reason. I think I'm going to just seat myself in the corner. Also, thanks Feri. I'm glad that we have reps for the Pad. Proves that you don't have to have a stick to be nasty in this game.
Most Unknown Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 While practicin the CL I was viewing the input and I had saw that I had inputed the Foward right afta the FRC and didn't get a dash. Does this mean that I'm not doin the move fast enough or what, cuz I was able to get it off a few time. From what I got from the vid is 6FRC6 and that what I got from the input I was doin. I juss need somebody to confirm my mistakes. I do feel however that I'm not hittin foward fast enough and its not registerin.
whytesakura Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 you have to do it immediately before and after the frc. if you didn't jump install you won't get the airdash
Hatred Edge Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Noob question indeed... 632146+K or S K-Horizontal Chemical Love S-Vertical Chemical Love
whytesakura Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 chemical love is the best move in the game!!!! not really it just looks really cool
cola Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I have a question about doing CL FRC dash using a stick: I have recently decide to switch from keyboard (I play reload online mainly) to stick I can do CL FRC dash quite consistently using a keyboard but switching to a stick is really a pain in the ass I am pretty sure I entered everything correctly, but the dash after frc rarely comes out. The way I input this move is like this: I enter forward + K/S/HS at the same time and then forward again. By turning on "Input", I notice that every time I enter forward + K/S/HS, the forward always comes before the FRC. So the sequence of input should be correct. I think my question is more about "how do you input it using a stick" rather than "what is the correct input sequence" Thank you for your help!
feri Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Give separating your inputs a go since you have to relearn it on a stick you might as well try. 6+frc 6 will be slower than 6 frc 6 I'm pretty sure your problem (since your already an adept ino player like you say) lies in the last 6 just not being fast enough. But to answer your question like you want it. Tap forward with whatever motion you use and let it slide back to neutral then tap it once more (should be faster than dragging it back to neutral to do it again). IMO There is no correct way... just do whatever your comfortable with and do it FAST. 5k > HCL FRC AD on a keyboard would just absolutely blow my mind away. Oh and just a question... Are you playing reload on a keyboard on a slower framerate?
cola Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 5k > HCL FRC AD on a keyboard would just absolutely blow my mind away. Oh and just a question... Are you playing reload on a keyboard on a slower framerate? I cannot do 5k->HCL FRC on keyboard...that's the only thing I cannot do No, the game runs at the regular speed Thank you for your help, I am gonna try it today.
whytesakura Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 yeah just tap it forward put your hand back to neutral (let your stick go back to neutral by itself) then tap forward again.its almost like doing a regular dash. you have to key your brain not to press 66frc. just practice doing 6frc then when you get that down in input, do the second 6. again like...you have to be fast with the second 6 because you have only so many frames like 4 or something
cola Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Thx to feri and whytesakura, I got it Another question about Throw FRC JS combo Do you guys do the same thing as CL frc dash? 6 FRC 6 too?
feri Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Yup, its exactly the same and I also have a audio cue for that too (its the sound she makes when she snaps the guitar string). Though that throw frc into negative edge tk dive just goes way over my head
whytesakura Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 lol i don't throw neg edge tk dive i do 9frc into pdive i also do 9frc into j.hs then pdive
whytesakura Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 throw 6frc6 then j.s its really hard to just randomly link and the j.s into dj.s is like a 1 frame link(sorta kinda)...as soon as you jump cancel the first j.s you have to IMMEDIATELY press slash again. its the same thing with linking j.s into dj.hs.
cola Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 thx for the tips guys! another question about 5k cl frc do you guys actually do 63214k 76 release k then frc dash? it is such an awkward motion...
bucklemyshoe Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 you have to use the 360 method if you're doing a stand alone 5K CL. Otherwise this happens: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=b6c399977b7f2b8519747bd91027d4ddb7594289905e94b7 It's up to you if you want to negative edge the cl or not but i think it's the easiest method. it only seems odd until you get it down. i used to think 2k cs 6p stbt was odd until i got it down.
bucklemyshoe Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 lol i don't throw neg edge tk dive i do 9frc into pdive i also do 9frc into j.hs then pdive i do 2369, seems to work better when you super jump the TK dive.
