every characters 5B and 5C is air unblockable. no word on drives though.

If this is true, then we can already start getting a sense of which characters this will benefit the most.

Like usual, Tager gets screwed. 5C is too slow, so it's not a threat. Make 5B air unblockable is dope...but too bad it doesn't combo into anything! You can't even cancel an anti-air 5B into 2C or raw Collider AFAIK. Lol stay free.

since 5B>5C>2C>5C>6C (all of which are air unblockable AFAIK right now)..... jump and barrier away will probably end in some very bad things.

Of course they could just bork him in the end for lolz.

Couldn't you use it as a tick into 360, like Bang uses his 2A as a hit confirm for his command throw?

Did I miss the Litchi and Bang nerfs? Seriously. Where are they? We've been seeing all kinds of hard and fast stuff that seriously brings down characters who were already mid-tier (Poor Lambda, WTF?) but where are the Litchi and Bang specific nerfs? For all the whining I saw the Bang players doing in some of the earlier threads, it doesn't seem he got hit nearly as hard as most of the lower tier people, and there's hardly been anything in the way of changes for Litchi at all. Are they expecting the system changes to somehow hit the top tier people harder? Even if they DO, they're still going to be the top tier thanks to the nerfs on everyone else.

I just don't get it.

Bang techable 2C and non-wallbouncing 623B are buffs, yo. He still gets seals just as easily using C nail loops and now he's going to have hilariously good bomper setups. Now he can 5A 5B 2B 2C bumper and mixup off the bumper if they emergency roll and 2B 6C air combo > corner bumper if they don't. Plus he actually has good corner combos now there's no tradeoff between mixup/pressure and damage in the corner now.

I am predicting that Bang will continue to be the most hated character in BBCS2, except that instead of damage (omg 3k damage 2 much) people will be whining about bumper setups.

His only real nerf is that he doesn't do quite as much damage overall per combo and that he can't get seals on crouch.

If your 5B keeps them on the ground, then yeah, you definitely could. You could also confirm 5B into 3C, or 2B > 2C if you're close enough. If you hit them with 5B late, you'll kick them while they're in the air, which would allow your opponent to air tech and safely get away. Tager's tightest gatling into 5B is after 5A of course, but if you IB the 5A, you can easily jump away, even jab 5B before it comes out.

techable 2C and no wallbounce 623B are both huge nerfs, which is why CS2 bang's midscreen dmg will probably be worse than rachels. C nail loops probably wont work anymore because of jD proration nerf. bang's 2C is techable if your not in the air in CS1, so don't expect ridiculous 2C bumper setups, because they are already possible and viable, and you don't have enough time to get mixup off bumper right after 2C because of how slow it is. daifunka is also much harder to combo into.

i'm totally not complaining about CS2 bang, because i actually think he is super good right now. your post was just full of fail sorry :(

Uh do you even play Bang? Do you even understand how bumpers work or are you just one of the Bangs that only use D nail and Daifunka? His bumper game just went from gimmicky to beastly now that he can guarantee emergency roll and/or free corner setup.

No LAAAAGINNAAA changes needed. Arc seems to be on a nerfing spree, at least that's what i got out of it. Everyone seems to be crying about their churracktur gettin nerfed so i figure no news is good news. Worse comes to worst, someone can always Hoax some new Ragna info.

in other news: JD having more prorations is soooooo sadlife, its my favorite move.

ON TOPIC: a friend of mine translated on the JBBS that all of the "killer" moves in BBCS are being removed, as in that they are just being nerfed.

an example of a "killer" move that was listed was litchi's staffed jC or taokaka 6C

On Topic: any news on other "Killer" moves being nerfed? I know you said ALL of them but since i haven't heard that term used too often can you give other examples for the simple folk?

when they used the term, i guess it was refering to moves that have such good proration that they lead into ridiculous amounts of damage.

That move doesn't exist. If you're talking about 4D, that move has the same basic proration as 5D and 2D, plus it can only combo on Counter/Fatal.
