qwerty Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 aside from the fact that i can't stand bb's english cast ("can you sound more like steve blum/wendee lee? thanks!"), i think they're fine in a tournament setting as long as neither player objects to them. in the case someone does though, japanese voices (arcade standard) should take priority over english ones, since some people only practice in the arcade and rely on audible cues for certain things.

ehuangsan Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 As much as I encourage timely attendance, people don't appear within reason, and that makes my job harder from a moral standpoint. I hope to improve the scheduling as it seems that people cannot make a 12PM and 2PM time for various reasons, but also account for timeliness for a more professional view in preparation for the future. I think that 12 pm may actually be a little tough for some people, since they have to commute and also get lunch somewhere. It might be easier if you gave a wider general registration window of like, 11-2 or something for all games, with all tourneys starting at 2:30. Last time it ran until near midnight only because the tourneys started at 4, partly because all of the registrations were staggered at different time slots.

As a result we need a different venue, preferably a free one. If anyone has any ideas do reply to the thread, as I'm actively thinking of another location as well. ~Chun
