Unless they find more ridiculous CS combos that end up being way longer than they ever intended I doubt it's going to be faster. Personally I prefer shorter high damage combos.

Play GG then.

I've always been a CvS2 player at heart. :P I'd play GG if I had a PS2... or whatever system it's on.

i'm locking this thread since it's clear that we can't stay on topic for very long.

i hope you guys are proud of yourselves. if you want GG-like mechanics, THEN GO PLAY GG! HOW HARD IS THAT?!

yes i know the location test isn't over yet, but too bad. i might unlock if i hear of new changes so ther's actually something to discuss and not idiots moaning about what the mechanics "should" be.

alright, opened up again. i'm not sure if there's anything new, but hopefully all the stupid has passed.

Finally the scariest characters from now:

This time's strong characters are Noel, Litchi and Makoto.

Litchi and Makoto are basically the same as before. Noel's 6A is easily

comboed from 5A or j.C. Her j.4D is way too fast, you can barely see it.

Her abare and damage increased drastically. She's quite dangerous now.

Summing it up: Litchi got a new midscreen loop without Mantenbou using [j.B > j.C > j.B > Kote (?)] xN. The loop shouble be able to carry the opponent all the way to the corner and when you get there, you should be able to Daisharin afterwards if you have meter. He says Litchi is actually dangerous at midscreen without Mantenbou right now.

I think he means she's the same from the last loketest. Except she was buffed here and there.

Makoto? Same as before? Did I miss something? I thought she was super nerfed?

All that was really nerfed was her damage output.

I don't think the translation is meant to be read as:

"These are the strongest characters according to the most recent information."

Rather

"Today these characters appeared quite strong."

Well, actually it's more like "According to the current changes, Noel, Litchi and Makoto are scary.

The AH BGM has been changed to the new OP. It doesn't fit really well.

There are now titles you can unlock for yourself and/or buy with PLATINUM DOLLARS (the exchange rate to the British Pound hasn't been specified) which weren't explained in the loketest because you could change everything for free. Colors are unlocked the same way. These changes are probably Nesica only, so I doubt we'll see them on consoles.

The wall bound system helps out Karuru and Lambchops the most, it seems. Carl's Brio wallbounds, which can easily lead to combos if they can't tech before the wall, and Lambchops can go into 5C from a corner throw, etc.

I was under the impression that they already existed, to some extent, on the Drive Code Cards online. "Brilliant/Risk Rating X/Colonel/Leviathan"

Are the arcade versions selectable then? I would imagine so.

- 623D has more proration.

Noel

Bloom Trigger has wall bound; if they don't make it to the wall, it ground slides.

Tao

+ 5C attack level increased, 5C CH -> 6C combos.

Litchi

+ Staffless jB has more untech time, otherwise staffless Litchi didn't change much.

The midscreen combo is jBCB land jBCB 6C 421D jB etc. You can go into it from Chun, so it's easy and dangerous enough.

Bang

- jD has more proration (from BBCS, less from the previous loketests).

Lambchops

+ Ground throw wallbounds.

Makoto

+ Comet followups go further for lvl 3s.

Valk

+ 6A CH unairtechable.
