kairless Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 quick edit : Jin 6A breaks primer on block for reals? lol does 6c>2d still work or is 2d too slow?
Nobus3r1 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Gadget actually doing damage. YES 2C>3C gatling. OK! No follow up from normal throw. FML...well tager shouldn't use it anyways. Wouldn't the level of impact of this change depend on whether or not the change regarding throws and guard broken peeps makes it into the final version? woah i'm shitting can't wait to end matches with that I wonder if it's considered a throw and thus guaranteed damage.
Skye Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Arakune * curse combo still does 8000+ damage I figured as much, different notations so he actually does combos, instead of loops. I did some theory fighter a while back and saw that if he did one rep of every loop (spin > dive > 6c > ???) with a 2c starter, he can get a good 8k in. Curse damage was not my worry. * 6D is positioned slightly farther away. Okay, I can see where that can be useful. At the same time I can see how that can be a nerf, need to play it first. + j.6[A/B/C] has been returned to BBCS version. Thank you. + f.g can used in combo to recurse opponent Thank you. + mist is faster, but lasts shorter That sounds workable with the new aggressive Arakune. - slight increase in startup time before a warp. Fair. Make his get out of corner free card less free. No gripes.
ZONG_one Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I' go ng t be swi ch ng cha ac ers, i lo ks li e. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Skye Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 At least play and see if Carl is worth it, first.
ZONG_one Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 At least play and see if Carl is worth it, first. Oh, but of course, nee~san. I posted some questions about Carl changes in another thread. Let me grab them, maybe someone can shed some light on vague parts.
ZONG_one Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Can anyone help me on this? hmmm... I wonder how many of these will be left unchanged. Here are all the changes +姉移動が素早い (Doll moves faster) +JCで相手を叩き落とす(with JC you can drop your opponents) +アニマの浮きがかなり高く受け身不能に (anima's float is higher, untechable) +ヴォランテモーションに弾アーマー付加 (volante has projectile armor) +カンタータの発生早く (cantata is faster) -全体的な火力の大幅減 (damage nerfed significantly) -姉コストが全体的に増加 (Sis cost is higher overall) -Aヴィヴァーチェの無敵削除(a vivace has no invincibility) -投げの威力600に (throw is 600dmg) -ヴォランテに同技乗算付加(same move proration added to volante) -ブリオの吹っ飛ぶ軌道が遠くに (brio sends opponents flying further away) -JBのフェイタル削除 (J.B CH no longer Fatal) source http://generalnantoka.blog35.fc2.com/blog-entry-405.html#cm I just want some of that stuff cleared up, like. Is it j.2C or j.C that knocks down? If j.B not FCH, does it still wall bounce on regular CH? Untechable anima = command throw? Or does untechable mean once thrown, opponent cannot tech until they hit the ground? Volante projectile armor means what?
Devdan Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Mu sounds pretty dead and buried at this point. Although I don't know what guaranteed frames are, I doubt they make up for totally destroying Mu's ability to combo. Platinum better be super fun to use.
Hecatom Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 i feel that ASW is trolling with some of the changes, lol dunno why but i feel that CSII maybe would end a little worse on the balance departament compared to CS, unleast there are changes that we dont know
HiagoX Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Can anyone help me on this? About the questions... 1) It is j.2C. 2) I don't think they mentioned anything about it still wallbouncing on CH. 3) Most likely can't tech until reaching ground. 4) Probably means that Volante can't be stopped by projectiles?
ZONG_one Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) Hmm. It's listed as a buff, but I dunno. If it's j.2C, I don't see it as a buff. If it's j.C, then I can start to see it as a buff. (BUT IT SAYS J.C) Which is it? I've seen both. Of course, anima isn't a command throw, because ASW never wants anyone to get hit by it.. Volante interesting. j.B I want to stay so bad, but even since CS, I figured they'd take it away. I have to keep watching, I guess. Thanks, Hiago. (^_^) Edited November 15, 2010 by ZONG_one

C0R Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 CSII maybe would end a little worse on the balance departament compared to CS I'm seeing a cleaner, more focused average, which is a fix imo. I doubt they make up for totally destroying Mu's ability to combo. Pretty much everyone lost at least a section of their longer loops, Mu actually gained a large amount of combo versatility with Ame no Habaya and 6c>5d>214D. 4) Probably means that Volante can't be stopped by projectiles? Probably more like Jin's 236D
tofurr Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 New Rachel Updates? They had stars next to them: + CSから全体的な火力の微妙な増加(ロケテからは弱体化) + 5B>2B追加(インカムでループが不可能になった) - 前ロケテまであったJ2Cのjcが削除 I'm going to guess that the last one says j.2C can no longer be jump canceled.

Google Moonrunes says + Delicate increase (weakened from a location test) of heat that is general from the CS + 5B> 2B addition (a loop became impossible for income)) - jc of J2C which there was to a previous location test deletes it
A.X.I.S. Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Wouldn't the level of impact of this change depend on whether or not the change regarding throws and guard broken peeps makes it into the final version? Shush. honestly 2C>3C is only good for breaking the last two primers...gadget actually doing damage is good, I'd prefer 200 damage but this is not a make my dreams come true thread. Another thing, as far as I can tell they are tweaking tager not really making him better...he is gonna be a better guard crusher now...(he was already decent at it in CS1.)
Beautiful Death Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 "I'm going to guess that the last one says j.2C can no longer be jump canceled." Oh no no no no no. don't say that. Please!

(^_^) I find the Volante buff to be really good if it is what I mentioned. It was kinda sad that I could use my projectile and make it clash with Volante. ):
tofurr Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 That's not that bad. She can still cancel them into normals and specials on landing (on hit confirm and block), which is way better than what we have in CS1.
Urichinan Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Shush. honestly 2C>3C is only good for breaking the last two primers...gadget actually doing damage is good, I'd prefer 200 damage but this is not a make my dreams come true thread. Then again, I don't use Tager very often.
Hecatom Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Many people think that they are trying the GGXXAC balance approach, in which it's done by accident. i still want to think that GGAC balance was something about some little luck and some little thought Shush. honestly 2C>3C is only good for breaking the last two primers...gadget actually doing damage is good, I'd prefer 200 damage but this is not a make my dreams come true thread. Beautiful Death Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Mmmm hmmm hmmm. Yeah. Guess I was flipping out a little too hardcore there. I just really want to see a top tier Rachel once more.
ZONG_one Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I'm still unsure if it's j.2C, hiago. This seems the most accurate, and it says j.C. If that's the case, I'm happy. I've always wanted Carl to have Arakune j.C. :]

Excuse me for not keeping tabs on every change, and which ones were actually true. Do we know for sure if that actually works? Using 2C like that seems wonky. I'd have to see if in action, I think. Either way, j.2C combos were a lot of fun to do.
