She doesn't seem to combo oriented, especially since she's so limited up close. Eh that combo seems kinda impractical in an actual fight, since they probably won't allow you to land that reverse arrow/stay in the corner, also lol at it being the only combo to NOT feature a Meta-super, but Chiester's is kinda terri-bad since you get two opportunities to interrupt it and it stops if you're hit = 3= Thanks for the vid. EDIT - This combo is at least a bit more fun...but only by a little. Although the combo breaks in the middle starting a new one, and it requires a full SP gauge (5) to preform the whole thing x.x Edited January 3, 2011 by SolxBaiken
stickystaines Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 You don't have to be in the corner for that reverse arrow stun combo to connect. And i think that reverse arrow combo is possibly the best combo to go for if you get a stun (you can add dash cancel, tags or meta cancels wherever you see fit from it.) The second part of the combo is the least practical combo in this game so far. For one, i've only got the 236A+B link to work on Eva (haven't tried many characters though), it is REALLY strict on the distance. The whole time when she was stunned i was just positioning myself so that it would all combo. Plus it requires multiple super stocks and a dash cancel if you want to continue it. 2A, 5B, 5C, 2C xx 63214C -> dash f.5A, f.5B (arrow hit), 2B, 5B, 5C xx dash, 2B, 5B, 5C, 2C xx 623C (stun) 63214C, 2B, 5B, 5C xx dash, 2B, 5B, 5C 2C xx 623C Meterless setup into combo. Wayl Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) If you've read episodes 1-3 or watched most of the anime, most of what's in the fighting game shouldn't be spoilers at all (Ange is shown in the end of ep 3). Though, the Chiester/Siesta sisters introduction animations are pretty damn spoiler lololol and I guess so is her animation for activating metaworld. That's the only thing I'll say really spoils beyond episode 1-3, but no one would get it unless they read up to ep 6-7 anyway. I would say the presence of BATTLER in the stage of the tea party is quite a huge spoil v.v Also, i just tried the game, it seems fun, evatrice is quite nice, and so is Ronove, i think they will be my team. However, the game seems a little slow to me, dunno if it's because of my computer or if this is normal. Edited January 3, 2011 by Wayl

insanity99 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) i would say the game is slower than GG and MvC but probably about the same game speed as blazblue (which is still pretty damn fast to most standards) lol 40fps is pretty low to be honest, with a fast paced fighter you want 60fps really but as long as your getting a sold 40 then it should still be playable. however if you want an fps improvement try picking a lower resolution if there is one available to you , with this kind of game you want A+ performance and there isn't much of a vast visual difference between the resolutions with this kind of game anyways haha i play it at 1920x1080 with 60FPS but i have picked lower resolutions and there isn't a great difference between them "though i can imagine there is a performance difference" anyway i hope this helped! (By the way, this Bernkastel character is the only one with a portrait and a (single) sprite. The other one just has a name.)
