Darlos9D Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Does AC have more lower coverage on its hitbox now? It seems like he's grabbing people out of the air who are lower than he used to be able to. Like, how he can just do 2B->AC on a lot of prone opponents.

Gadget Flinger...you know what I mean. Going for it and missing it, that is, because the collider always grabs them. That would corroborate what you're suggesting. (Well, at a specific range it works on hazama, point blank j.2c > 2B > AC fails, but point blank 5A > 5B > 3C > 2B > AC works). So yeah, always been able to do that. Just that 3C prorates better now so it's a good idea. Going for it and missing it, that is, because the collider always grabs them. That would corroborate what you're suggesting. Not necessarily. Most people suck at performing gadget flinger, seeing them mess it up isn't surprising.

The timing sucks but it is doable

Edit: Yea, thought so. 6A looked like a bare connect, thought the hitbox or hook properties were altered.. BGadget red beat made me lol.. The combo I posted was just the basic one. Bgadget on arakune makes our lives complete. Our BnB might break 4k.5C 6A 2C does not necessarily make a new bnb, in fact I'm pretty certain it won't unless you're pretty close because 6A doesn't pull very much with no charge. Maybe with mag an a slight hold at certain distances. I'm not really imagining using our 5C at that range very much though, what with people having 5A's and 5B that work much better at the same range. The video he linked did (CH) 5A 5C 6A 3C 2B collider bgadget for 1.8k he did that because he was too far away to get anything else to combo. Later when he was point blank it looked like 2C might have worked on bang, but he didn't go for it. Maybe 5C 6A could replace 6A 5C in some spots for more damage, but when you're super close and have a punish like that, 360b seems more logical. I'm very underwhelmed and kinda worried that we might be taking another damage nerf in order to get better abare, again. Fingers crossed that clears up. I'm personally more worried that our bread and butters might do less damage than before the way the changes have been going.

Fingers crossed that clears up. I'm personally more worried that our bread and butters might do less damage than before the way the changes have been going. We did take a slight damage nerf in some things but a buff in others. he couldn't do 360B off CH 5A and I am pretty sure your not gonna hit confirm a CH 5A into 5C...he just got lucky that combo'd. I have no idea if 6A>5C even works, no one in the jbbs mentioned it when I last checked.

I'm interested in when the super armor on 6A ends rather than what beats it/what doesn't it beat. Because vs that same Bang you can see 6A baited and punished with a properly timed 2D.

I used to do things this way too, just forgot. Interested to discover if BGadget works universally now since it also worked on Arakune in that video.

Which is obviously better at pretty much the same range. Really I think the 360B buff is a bigger deal than the 5C 6A. When are you gonna do that? 6A 5C was a typo, I meant 6A 2C, which could be less damage than 5C 6A 2C, but seems more plausible to me. ...I'd like to try hit confirming counterhit 5C into charged 6A on a magnetized opponent and see how much pull you could get off using the extra hitstun for charge time. 6A 2C would be a slight improvement over 6C off CH 5C.
