played 100+ games yesterday

the game itself is about the same as the final loketest version

so refer those changes mentioned before for change list

Makoto seems to be a huge problem so far

JB itself is about the same, it looks better cuz Jin's jump preparation frame shortened from 5 to 4

J2C actually has bigger hitbox now

Combo:

pretty similar to CS1 but 6D, 623D, 6C has bigger proration now

so sometime u might have to omit one of them to finish the combo

C Dp does 1300 damage now and has lower proration, so CDp(ch)>B>C>JB>JC>jc>J2C>JD>214B works

some new stuff:

throw>dash6C>dc>C>HJB>JC>jc>J2C>214B about 2k

throw>dash6C>dc>C>HJB>jc>J2C>214D>6C>214C about 2.3k

throw(3hit)>623B>6C>JC>jc>J2C>214B 2.2k

near corner:

B>C>sekka>dash6C>Bdp>2D>6B>~ new combo parts to send opponent to corner

Bdp has longer untechable time makes Bdp>dash6C or 2D possible, but it depends on space

Hiyoku has less proration so combo from Hiyoku(ch) also does bigger damage now

j.2C's hit-box is bigger now, huh? How so? Vertically or horizontally because its vertical and specially horizontal hit-boxes are balls in CS1.

More questions:

1. Is 2D really faster and can you do DP C (CH) > 66 > 5C > Stuff as reported from the final loketest?

2. Does 3C > 236D still work in the corner and is 3C > 236C even viable at all now?

3. Is Sekka-Jin's push-back almost non-existent now, well just enough to combo into and from it without problems?

1. J2C has slightly bigger vertical hitbox, it beats 2A and 5A easier than it was before

2. 2D didn't change at all. Cdp(ch)>dash 5C is slightly easier but for most cases u still have to do Cdp>dashB>C

also Cdp has much longer untechable time now

3. 3C>236D does not work anymore, 3C>236C still works but opponent can tech at the first timing and then high-jump run away, so it requires slightly more effort to make this oki functions

4. B>C>sekka works against everybody and easier to land against ragna and hazama

stunedge, can Jin still do 5.5k with 50% in corner? (with the correct starter)

can't really tell so far since there might be some other new combos (e.g. Hiyoku counter starter, etc)

but this might be hard to accomplish by only using old combo parts

I hate to be asking this here, but could you tell me more about Makoto's situation?

she is pretty much the same

she received some nerfs but she still has beyond average normals and supers

and more importantly

her combos do damage regardless of position

will come up with more specific summarize later

However, if you plan on telling me more specific stuff about Makoto, please post it in our CS2 thread or PM me. This is a Jin thread, after all.

Thanks, it's good to know that DP C > 66 > 5C works now outside of the corner and that Sekka-Jin now works against the entire cast. Losing 3C > 236D is a bit of a letdown though.

One more thing, can you test a CS1 combo for me?

5B > 5C > Sekka-Jin > 6C > DC > 5C > hJC > j.2C > j.D > Air Dash > j.2C > j.C > (dashing) 5B > 2B > 5C > 3C. You have to omit the 2B in the original CS1 combo because they'll be able to block after the 2B and I want to see if this full combo works in CS2. If not then just go ahead and omit the 2B and see how much damage it does, the current damage for that combo is 2925.

tried, the combo does not work

if u omit the first 6C, it works with 2B and does 2832

In a video I saw of cs2 jin's 5B was air unblockable (air fd only)! That's pretty important, I thought it was his 5C that was air unblockable.

I wonder why gaga ends his air combo with 3 ice...

and always try to reset with 6C in the corner.., and most times it hits them... I wonder why
