Varamathras Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 i'm tried to drop it, but someone posted incorrect information on the subject. if you can't tell me the difference between bang having 5B 2B pressure and rachel's 5B 2B jA pressure, you should go do some research. oh, you don't have to use wind to get jA to hit, just to combo. i do recall saying something about it doing less damage..... flame someone else :3 j.A only hits Hakumen and Tager without wind while they're crouching.
huey253 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 i just think its important that you learn the difference between bang's pressure and rachel's pressure. You seem very confused in that aspect.
Varamathras Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) i just think its important that you learn the difference between bang's pressure and rachel's pressure. You seem very confused in that aspect. Bang loses options once he uses 2B. He can jump, nails or go for a low, but loses the option to go for a high. Rachel gains options when she uses 5B. She can go for a low, a high, jump out, or use a winded jump attack to continue pressure. The ability to go back into 5B in CS2 gives her plenty of options for pressure and mixup. The new 2B 5B string helps Bang in this regard, but not to the same extent (for reasons I'm sure you already know). Happy? Edited February 2, 2011 by Varamathras
huey253 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 pretty much. the discussion was fine until you brought 5A so broken the mixup is too good... some people really believe stuff like that, so i just wanted to make sure that wasn't you....

I play both Bang and Rachel. Where would I be if I didn't know my own characters?
Sophisticat Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 On the subject of Rachel's frame data, I made an analysis of that earlier today. ------------------ Now... That London Haku... Before I judge him, was he trolling or something?

Circuitous Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 THIS THREAD IS FOR THE DISCUSSION OF VIDEOS.
Lord Knight Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 who won the alpha station tourney? it looked like a 3 way tie, inuo beat blacky, blacky beat muto, and muto beat inuo.
Tu101uk Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Now... That London Haku... Before I judge him, was he trolling or something? Oh most certainly not... XD Seriously, few people had an answer to Fuzzyness's Hakumen at that monthly meetup on that day. He also reached the finals of another local bi-monthly tournament, Ultimate Clash, only six days previous to this... ...however, IIRC on both occasions, two strong London players (Kyzertron, who reps Lambda, and HurricaneRev, who uses Taokaka) were not present (Kyzer and Rev were certainly not at LTG3) and I know Fuzzyness can't beat them and Kiba consistently yet. O-O~
OmegaZyklon Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Vaguely on the subject of video discussion: I just want to say thanks to Jourdal and Pktazn for posting so many vids. Put together they're responsible for at least 90% of everything i know about BBCS2 gameplay, so much <3s.

O-O~ Ok... To beat him, use more throws or fake pressure/create delays (he mashes counters). Play more against him to block his stuff properly. Lay on more pressure too, don't be afraid to be aggressive. He knows his combos, but is lacking in the department of setting them up. Don't get countered, and you should be able to beat him with a bit of patient play. Basically: - He lacks an organized pressure strategy (in fact, he backs out too often). - Does not do oki. - Does not set up knockdowns. - Uses/badly uses too many counters. - Mashes 4c like he doesn't know why he's using it. But he can combos and block, at least. Still, follow the above, and you can be sure he won't be in GFs next time. Good luck. :]

Sadly, I didn't even touch BlazBlue that day and I've never actually faced Fuzzyness before in it (not that I remember anyways)... I was actually more focused on commentating and recording for that event (as well as scrubbing out in the Arcana Heart 3 tournament that followed >.<)... But yeah, all the same, cheers for the advice against Hakumen... ^_^ O-O~
SolxBaiken Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 CS1 Noel Combo Video Made By Me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm6ZjYzirLE Maybe someone might like it, I dunno. Don't hurt me. *beats the crap out of LunaKage* That ain't Arcana Heart >.> Seriously nice vid, I like that you did it in training mode so the inputs and damage outputs could be observed.
The Katz Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Trying to record without replays is ridiculous. I basically had to do the first VS. Haku combo blind-folded. . . Anyway, since I'm new to making vids, any input would be nice.
arctus32 Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Love your combo movie btw :D Even I can't think of doing combos like those, stay gdlk Katz >_< *lol @ end of vid :P
TheDarkWall Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Nice work katz managing to make ragna look interesting is something I didn't think was possible, much less to that extent.
Jourdal Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Yeah, that was really good, and it wasn't a BK fest (ironic all ragna videos are filled with them and hardly anyone uses BK....).
A.X.I.S. Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Katz is the type of Ragna player who doesn't play his character, he plays combo video and everyone else is just there for it. Great video Katz.
KM Riku Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10972-BBCS1-Tier-List-THE-FINAL-CHAPTER&p=926188&viewfull=1#post926188 You're both really cute. I learned the Taunt loop and three pick ups into it in 2 hours today, and her footsies and spacing are fucking easy. Just leaving this here :3
Jourdal Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I can't, in good conscience drop ragna anymore. I was expecting another 4 minutes of BK.
GenoWhirl Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 It looks so fun I'm tempted to...sub Ragna!!?!? What is happening ;w;
Nini Heart Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I generally get bored watching Litchi but that Kikuchiyo guy did some pretty out of the loop stuff.
Ichipoo Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 http://www.famitsu.com/blog/asami_ssg/1236598_1944.html Just scroll a little bit to the vidja.OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! /hella late
