But at least they were console exclusive characters, Dampierre is just completely SOL at the moment, and I would've liked to seen him up for everyone with the first set of DLC so I can decided if it's worth learning him at all ; w; Also... If anyone ever knocked his helmet off, they were surprised with a giant blue afro pink skin and yellow facial hair. If I can recreate this moment but in sc5 I will be happy. I once won a match because a guy knocked my helmet off and died out laughing. He was too stunned to finish me off. Giggity

Bubbles are back in full force, everything he does is faster because of the new systems, and his CE does like 50-60% of your health and can apparently OTG. I still think Devil Jin style is more broken because any character with the style can do EWGF juggles for potentially big damage, and don't forget the lasers. Good thing they'll be banned at majors.

Vulcan422 Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) Some Story Mode spoilers I gathered from around the web, mainly from 8WayRun & GameFAQs. -Story mode is about 2 hours long, consisting of about 20+ episodes. -Patroklos serves under Graf Dumas, AKA Nightmare, hunting down malfested. After the 1st battle he kills an innocent man just because "there's no way to prove he isn't malfested". People start screaming in terror because of this. Patroklos starts out as a massive douchebag who only cares about revenge, and killing whoever he is ordered to in order to find clues about his sister. -After encountering Z.W.E.I., Pat goes back and confronts Dumas, who reveals he never gave a shit about finding Pyrrha, and calls him a worthless dog. He tries to have Voldo kill Pat because he figured out Dumas' intentions. -Afterward he fights Siegfried, who tells him about Soul Calibur like in the trailer. Pat beats him, and refuses to ally himself with Siegfried, but he sends Z.W.E.I. and Viola to join him anyway. -It is revealed that Tira is the one who murdered Sophitia. -Ezio appears as a cameo. -Tira manipulates Pyrrha to become the new wielder of Soul Edge in order to protect Patroklos, not realizing that Patroklos hates any and all malfested, and has made it his life's goal to inflict mass genocide upon them. -Pyrrha and Pat reunite after he beats Tira twice (once in Jolly and the other in Gloomy modes). -Afterward they get attacked by Astaroth, then Volda, and finally Dumas who reveals himself as Nightmare. Nightmare reveals that the "malfested" Pat killed weren't actually malfested - they were normal people, making Pat a little more than a serial killer. Pyrrha turns into Omega Pyrrha and beats Nightmare. Pat gets freaked the fuck out and runs off crying like a bitch, leaving Pyrrha emotionally shattered. She then places all her trust in Tira. -Pat has an existential crisis, and meets up with Siegfried again, who says he is not worthy of wielding Soul Calibur in his current state. He orders Z.W.E.I. to fight Pat. Pat loses regardless of whether you win or lose the battle, and gets a lecture from Z.W.E.I. that culminates into him turning into Alpha Patroklos. This is how you unlock him. -Pat then goes to seek out Ivy, and they fight. Ivy tells him about the Kali-Yuga and the Dvapara-Yuga used by Kilik and Xianghua, which are now wielded by Xiba and Leixia. Pat meets up with them and by fighting the Asia Squad becomes their ally. -Soul Calibur is resurrected, and Elysium appears before Pat, telling him that he must kill Pyrrha. He finds her, and when she sees him she gets pissed that he doesn't care about her. She loses, and Pat murders her in cold blood, but her last words linger on with him: "I'm alone again?" Character Spoilers -Kilik has sort of taken an Akuma-style approach to things. He's a boss and has an evil appearance, but follows his code of honor. Now he only wants to train to improve himself, making his entire motivation throughout the series null and void. His characterization has become completely flat. -Edge Master is immortal, and apparently was an old rival of Algol. -Algol is unlocked through Legendary Souls mode. -Elysium is the physical manifestation of Soul Calibur like how Inferno is to Soul Edge. She's the voice that spoke to Cassandra in her SC4 ending. When Pat and her meet, she takes the image of Sophitia to manipulate him, saying that there is no other way to save Pyrrha from her fate other than killing her. This is a damned lie, because as we have all seen from Cassandra and Siegfried's endings, Soul Calibur is just as evil as Soul Edge, just of a different sort. Both are two sides of the same coin - an evil coin, if you will. This is because of Algol's ambition for an eternal rule over the world seeping into the sword when he tried making a good counterpart to Soul Edge. This technically makes Algol the true antagonist since he's the one who made both swords. -In Legendary Souls mode, you fight Kilik, Elysium, Edge Master, SC4 Nightmare, Inferno (using Cervantes' style) at random. After beating them you fight Algol, and beating him unlocks him. Good luck with that, though, because this mode is set at a difficulty that's above Ultra Hard/Edge Master, kinda like CT/CS Score Attack and Unlimited Mars Also, these are apparently the tracks in the DLC. Only 10 songs per pack, sans the 3rd one, which only has 6. That's 26 for each character sans two.
