B-RAi Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 i was just there today for AE. i got terr early so it seemed like they jus left the monitors and ps3s out for ppl to use. no guarantee tho if they wil still be there tomoro. the current keyholder might or might mot hav taken them with him but i kinda doubt it. if anything jus bring ur discs and wat not with u jus incase

I can ask ryan if he'll open it for your guys. If not, i recall taht watermonz is going to be holding something at UCSD this saturday for winter game fest. if you can't make it to SCR, i recommend you go to that.

Watermelonz Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 If any of you are thinking about just going UCSD's WGF for only one of the day Saturday would probably the best day, since that's when there's gonna be the most people and parking's free on weekends. Like I said, I be there all three days, for pretty much the entire duration of the event.

It was a nice opportunity to "unrust" in P4A and while we didn't really recruit anybody (maybe one person? Andy knows him) it was nice having some people watch us play animu. Also it's so nice to finally be the passenger for once.

I've talked to some of my friends who goes there about if I can setup there, and they said there are setups other than Marvel at Saltmines on Mandays.

I'm going to be in San Diego starting the 6th of April and I was wondering what's the scene in San Diego, when are you weeklies and if there are some arcades I should know of when I'm there. Are there any GG players in San Diego? Marvel ? AE?
glod Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 We usually meet up (around 8 people on average) on Friday night to play BB/Persona4. Not a lot play GG but some do! Also, at the same location on different nights, there is a big group of Marvel and AE players. I think they go there on mondays. The nearest good arcade is about an hour and a half drive north, it's called Super Arcade and a lot of fighting game events get held there. I'm not sure of the scheduling for these besides the BB/GG events which are every other Saturday. They have a SSFIVAE machine that people are usually on.
